| | I don't see things dramatically changing in the US until the big oil companies in this country figure out how to make a bigger profit off something like ethanol than oil. Things are slow to change in the government since the same oil companies are major campaign funders for our politicians. Most politicians these days wouldn't want to propose any laws that would put their top campaign contributers out of business. There's more to the issue of course, but that's one big factor. Yup, they sure do! After I saw the Scientology-South Park episode, I thought to myself "No way, they can't really believe THAT", even though the episode had the "This is what Scientologists actually believe" notice in the episode. I spent a few minutes on Google after, and sure enough... that's what they beleive.
Actually, that whole Xenu stuff is only known to the higher ranking members of the "Church". If I remember correctly, Hubbard actually said that knowing that story before you're ready might kill you(not sure if that's the correct interpretation of what I read). The magazine "Rolling Stone" published a good article on just how screwy that "Religion" is...

| Ehhh I think it's probably more than 16M.
Prolly around a good 5M have rage of '28 days later' caliber. Heh, one guy I know was driving down the road one day, and some girl(another person I happen to know) cut him off and sped by. Well, he got pissed and tryed to run her off the road. The thing was, she was in labor and trying to get the the hospital. The same dude even did a drive by shooting at the police station in my town.
