| It was a wonderful idea that was rushed, it could have been one of the best games of the generation if only they took out the guns, less fighting (or at least make it more streamlined) and had more time to make a bigger more divers game.
Great potential, too bad we won't get a sequel for a while. I'm guessing all the work power is on BF3, EA wants it to be their COD killer. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Its for using your PC as a media center on your TV. WEVI is a streamer and Xtion replaces the remote. I think its a nice way to replace the mouse when you want to see media on your TV, its not for StarCraft 2 or Civ. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Not everyone are Halo and COD, actually almost no one is Halo and COD. If they sell a little more and get about the same amount of revenue but with a bigger player base then its a very smart move, a bigger player base = more DLC sold. The question is will they get around the same amount of revenue with the cheaper price. Flag this | Edit this post |

| My guess is:
1) DOTA on Source
2) Source going DX11
3) Episode 3
The DOTA thing is a sure thing, everyone knows by now that they are doing DOTA with the original creator. E3 must be one of them because we are waiting forever and its about time.
The DX11 guess is based on a speech Valve gave in siggraph 2010 on water flow in L4D2 and Portal 2. The last slide said:
Future Work
• Flow height maps and use tessellation hardware
• Multiple frequencies of normal maps
• Render dynamic flow vectors per-frame so animated
objects cause flow changes
• Use flow map with our physics simulation to have
objects flow on the water surface using the same data
As you can see, the first bulletin is about hardware tessellation and only DX11 cards can do hardware tessellation so... Just remember how guessed it first :) Flag this | Edit this post |

| The Onlive guys once did a revenue break down of a 60$ copy, it went something like this:
15$ - Retailer
7$ - Returns (for over shipping copies to stores etc.)
4$ - Printing and shipping
7$ - Platform royalties (Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo)
27$ - The publisher
There aren't any platform royalties on the PC so its 34$ per a 60$ copy or pure 60$ for a digital copy. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Every first party game can only be done on PS3, GT5 has PS4 graphics, can't sell PS2 to Iraq because its a super computer, Move is better then a mouse and keyboard... Sony is getting more and more out of touch from the normal human world. Flag this | Edit this post |
