| Complaining about a 250GB limit? Seriously? Try paying about US$75/month for a measly 40GB limit. And that's a supposed 10Mbit connection, although ours seems to be running as a 4Mbit one lately, and that's one of the best plans available here.
That said, I don't think I could use more than about 150GB even if I tried. No point stockpiling media if you never have time to use it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Plus the fact that the media is going to go ballistic when they discover what the enemy looks like. Ignoring the time and location just in case it's inconvenient to them...
RE4 is a hard act to follow, hope it's good! Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Hopefully Doom4 is more of a game than the tech demo that was Doom3. Doom3 never seemed to be anything other than boring wandering or frustrating difficulty. The final boss was _way_ too easy to beat as well. Doom1/2 were great fun, here's hoping that Doom4 is fun again. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Considering the number of reports of issues I've seen mentioned about the game, graphical glitches, still no mid-mission checkpoints, and other bits & pieces (see the various reviews), I'm questioning the merit of a lot of the reviews. I'm still waiting for my import copy of the game to arrive (here's hoping it doesn't keep crashing my 60GB PS3 like people have been reporting) so I can't verify things, but honestly, if a game has obvious flaws, don't give it a perfect 10. What happened to 9.9s even? Or would Rockstar complain? Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I found the GTA games to be too long, Saints Row didn't need the same crazy amount of dedication just to finish the main storyline, I quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to being able to ride Motorcycles around the city :) Flag this | Edit this post |

| | The only system with the CPU power to run games decently is the Mac Pro, which will annihilate the average PC. Unfortunately, they still have pretty average graphics cards, so it's still a lost cause until they are able to use off the shelf PCIe boards. Flag this | Edit this post |

| If neither company wants to comment, that means it's confirmed.
They'll still be able to make hardware to work on the PS3 as long as they still adhere to USB standards. If MS makes them require device-specific drivers, then that'll ruin it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| On anything other than the Mac Pro, yeah pretty much. The iMacs at least have proper 3D GPU chips in them, unfortunately they're right at the bottom end of the performance spectrum. The Pros can be spec'd up to take (Mac Pro compliant) 8xxx series GeForce cards in SLI from memory. Don't quote me on that though.
People don't buy Macs for gaming, I'm not sure it's a good use of development resources until Apple actually start producing consumer-level (iMac) computers with decent GPUs. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | And the only system with enough power (decent videocard) to play it, is a Mac Pro. Somehow I don't see too many people buying those with the intent of gaming on them, but I could be wrong. Maybe the devs know something we don't and they're gonna announce some upgraded iMacs with decent videochips in them at Macworld. Flag this | Edit this post |
