| Scaling from 1280 to 1920 is an awful lot of scaling with the vertical is remaining static. There isn't a huge amount of difference between that and plain old 1280x720 (720p) - I wonder why they didn't just render at 720p. Would've given them some spare CPU power.
Audio in racing games is almost always rubbish. Maybe it's so they can support the people who are still using the speakers on their TVs for surround as opposed to those with bigass HT setups whos systems should be able to handle the sphincter rattling roar of race engines. | I've had issues with Creative and their drivers for years. Games like Dirt only apparently support 3D Sound via EAX and not DirectSound 3D is bloody annoying.
Admittedly, they're not as bad as they were in the original Soundblaster Live days. That was a pain in the ass. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Vista is horrible to use. XP is so much simpler. By trying to make Vista easier to use, they've managed to achieve the opposite. It's too unintuitive and picky. Plus it's a system hog. Selling laptops with 512Mb and Vista (albeit Home Basic) installed plus the usual mountain of crap that laptops come installed with is completely hopeless. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | And as per usual the cops say that he probably shouldn't have defended himself. Bugger that, good on the guy. We put up with enough crap as it is these days without lowlife scum trying to take what isn't theirs. The old guy deserves a commendation. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I bought the PS3 to play games on, playing BRs is a bonus. I'd never buy a dedicated player as the war could last for years and go either way. It's ridiculous. Hopefully whatever comes next is more clear-cut. Bring on holographic data-cubes! Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Still the game I enjoyed finishing the most. There were some very annoying bits in it (final boss, and yes, the race car), but overall I really enjoyed the game, and still think it's the best sandbox game to date, particularly where the story is involved. The 2nd one can't really be a sequel though after the ending of the first one. Or can it? Flag this | Edit this post |
