| | In fact, it already has been cracked. If anyone thinks EA using this kind of DRM to stop pirates, they are mistaken. EA has made it clear over the years that they want to stop the secondhand games market and that's exactly what this does. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | The 4850 has been outperforming the 9800 gtx in all the benchmarks I have seen. This review focuses on the 9800gtx+ that has been paper launched by nVidia and will not be out till mid-July for ~$230. So no, the GTX isn't cheaper (Its price was lowered to 199, the exact same as the 4850)OR more powerful. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Lack of choices as a good thing? Have you people lost your mind?? Do we want one monopoly so we can be force fed whatever they feel like giving us and whatever price they demand? I'm all for convergence, but to wish for it by having one giant conglomerate seems like wishing for less innovation. Markets inevitably tend towards monopoly, why wish for it faster? | | KotOR 2 and NWN 2 were both great. (Personally I prefer NWN2 to NWN1, Baldur's Gate style party FTW!) Don't include quality Obsidian games with those other two. Then again I think Bioshock was ass, mainly because I played a more advanced version years before... Flag this | Edit this post |

| | The same way CoD4 beats out the Orange Box for GotY, these people are on crack. Or more likely that people have different tastes, E.G. I think CoD4 is one of the worst multiplayer games in years, but millions are enjoying it. Just goes to show that the general population is stupid, or has never experienced the goodness that is DoD:S. ^.^ Flag this | Edit this post |

| Repeat after me, a boycott means not purchasing something, a protest is where they get out the signs and stand around. Knowing the difference is an important life skill.
As far as getting singled out; yes, it is getting singled out. However, it is ultra-violent game and is at the far end of the "M" spectrum. I am also rather sure those who are going to "boycott" it weren't going to play it in the first place. I read the "boycott" to mean that parents should, under no circumstance, buy this for their kids. While that IS the purpose of the rating system, this group seems to be emphasizing the point that, as most I think here would agree, many parents buy these games for their kids without checking the rating. If they can get media attention they can help raise awareness. I don't see whats wrong with going above and beyond the rating system. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Perhaps I am reading this differently but doesn't the press release essentially say that the group is going to make sure that parents know that this isn't for children? Doesn't that allow for effective parenting? What I see out of this is they are in effect having parents (who shouldn't be buying the game for their kid in the first place) not buy the game. Perhaps all the other posters see something I do not. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | More proof that god is dead. Heres to hoping that Obsidian can take up Bioware's torch, because its extinguished. Valve was smart, a publishing deal only and a very limited one at that. Bioware getting bought by venture capitalists was a bad idea in the first place and this is the result. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I too am loving it, the balance is great with a few minor exceptions. The engineer can hide behind their sentries and take little to no damage from direct rocket hits, and then repair the sentry before the next rocket can arrive. Grenades take care of this though, more because of the solider being underpowered than the engineer being overpowered. The spy's full speed invisibility is a bit ridiculous. The most minor one is that a medic and heavy team are nigh on unstoppable.
Other than that its close to perfect. Flag this | Edit this post |
