Of course they would have used them. Obviously. Thank goodness the US developed them before they or Germany could. Your point makes no sense. Imperial Japan surrendered only because they would have been completely destroyed had they not. Period. It took that kind of threat to change their mentality. They were prepared to fight to the last citizen to keep their empire.
Blockading the US is silly. The world's economy is is interdependent and could not support itself without the US.
And, should the US suffer another 9-11 type attack, it would be completely validated in using nukes. Just as it was valid to use them against the "kamakazi" mentality of the Japanese. And, it worked. Japan is now a peacefull, dominating economic power that has done much for the world's quality of life. Let's do the same with the Middle East.
Thanks for the insults, btw. Try making a point/counterpoint instead of insulting people and you will be better received.

Nothing America could do would ever change anything?
Why do we have to learn the same lessons over and over?
Imperial Japan was just as fanatical as the islamic extremists. They just had to be brought face to face with the destruction of their whole society. The same will hold true with the Middle East. Nuke the next country that sends suicide {kamakazi} bombers into the stone age and the rest will fall into line.
