| Seriously... If they could offer a version of windows that has advanced features like XP pro, doesn't fuck up hardware audio, and can run with low system requirements, I'd gladly buy that version of vista...
oh and sqitso, who cares about support really, I can't think of a single person who has called microsoft for support for their product, any problems they've had have been directed either at the OEM like dell or some tech support guy.. If you have a problem with a microsoft product, you can just e-mail them, and I don't see how that should make a POS excuse for an OS like vista cost $400 considering the level of support relative to how much you get from the OS... | I think what needs to be understood by the labels is that if you expect people to pay for something, it should be of high quality and it should be cheaper than getting a hard copy of it..
If I purchase ANY music online, it's not only going to have to be cheaper than a CD, but it's going to have to sound at least just as good. It also better not have any DRM on it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Vista is a pos, there is nothing worse than forcing the consumer to eat this shit and just 'accept things'.. If a consumer wants a copy of windows 98 on their machine, I think computer companies should offer that, not force them to buy this unnecessary crap. There should be a lot more consumer choice whether or not you think its stupid. If I can, I'll avoid vista entirely which I don't think is too unfeasible considering how old windows XP is and how long it's going to have to be supported.. While the graphics do look nice on the X360 and PS3, I'd be perfectly alright with the Wii having graphics that of the PS2/Xbox since those seem to be at a point where it doesn't look spectacular but at the same time isn't very noticable how aged they look, IMO. Ironically enough I'm ok with graphics from the NES-Sega era, some PS1 games and PS2 games. I guess it really depends on how the game is designed, seems like they put too much polygon focus on some parts and not enough for others instead of making it more consistent looking which IMO looks a whole lot better.
