| | they make psx/ps2 to USB gamepad connectors... you can get them for about ten bucks. I had a logitech wingman rumblepad for a really long time, then the analog stick thumbpads got lost due to their lame design flaw (there's no reason for those things to ever be able to come off). And knuckles makes another good point. Lag in fighting games breaks the game. I'll play my fighters from the comfort of my couch, thank you very much. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | As an old old lover of the games (FO 1 & 2), I'm keeping my fingers crossed too-- what I've heard about the NPCs makes me happy, but I've been taking all the hype with a grain of salt- Interplay made/published better games than Bethesda does. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Gears of war is an OK game, and a great cover simulator. I would have bought it if I didn't beat it in like six hours. And multiplayer? MEHHHHHHH.
But back to the topic at hand. I refuse to buy a playstation 3/xbox 360 until it costs under 200. I've owned three PS2s and two Xboxes and all of them broke in less than 2 years, but well after the shitty warranty expired (also resulting in a ruined copy of Soul Calibur 3 AND Kingdom Hearts 2). Except in the case of my first xbox, which broke under warranty and microsoft told me to pay 100$ for them to replace it (SUCK DICK MICROSOFT). As an interesting footnote to that, my nintendo 64 never stopped working, my snes never stopped working, my nes (barely) still works, my genesis still works, my dreamcast still works, my gba still works...there is a wii sitting at my house but who knows how long it will take before it breaks. | » damn you microsoft they did this when my xbox broke. both of them. The cd trays stopped opening and upon calling microsofts support they wanted 100$ to ship it back to them to be replaced.
while the xbox has had some fun games, I'll leave that sort of fiscal investment to my friends. i'm not going to drop 350+$ on something that could easily break. Flag this | Edit this post |

| There's this scam I used to do when I was working fast food (worst idea EVER.) - we'd throw sticks and some underbrush right under the drive thru window (in oregon, it's not that implausable), and when people dropped their change (as they often did with these clumsy hands of mine), they would get so discouraged by the obsticle they'd just give up.
I would make upwards of 15 dollars every day doing that.
If you'll excuse me, I'll be heading out to the park. Flag this | Edit this post |
