| Yeah, you tell'em! (and I am not being sarcastic this time)
Actually there are 2 games that I have not bought because of ads, Quake Wars and BF2142 (well, also because it is, or at least BF2 was, buggy as hell) Flag this | Edit this post |

| Wow a hat trick. I didn't think anyone would get Wonderboy. Interstate 76 was great, but I don't think many people played it.
Edit: You were right the first time, don't need to change your answer. Anyway, with the amount a questions you get right it's like you have borrowed all my games :)
Edit: The Wonderboy sound is from a desert level. I guess I should give you a bonus point.
Anyway of the 110 currently answered questions, you have answered 41, Jwhx is second with 22.
Someone with your knowledge of games sould try posting a quiz ;) Flag this | Edit this post |

| All questions are easy if you know that answer ;)
I think that the other two images are even easier
because there were made so many games similar
to Commando.
I own the SMS version of Commando and
the Capcom arcade classics vol.1 on Xbox. Flag this | Edit this post |

| This is same as when LCD monitor manufacturers sell their dithered 18bpp monitors as ~16M color (24bpp) and not ~256K color.
EDIT:
By their definition, any game that is upscaled to at least 720 is HD game. Not that I care, as I only have SDTV. Flag this | Edit this post |

| My favorite sound of this batch is sample 87.
But I like them all, which is usually a requirement for me using it.
Actually this game (sample 86) was supposed to be the best thing
since sliced bread but despite good reviews, it did disappoint
many when it failed to live up to the all the promises. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Wow lots of guesses :) Better go through them systematically.
(Image 44)- Fantasy Zone?
Correct, although I am more looking for the character but if you give me a name of a game that character is in then that is close enough.
(Image 45)- Bubble Bobble
Incorrect, but a very good guess.
(Image 46)- Night Trap
Correct.
(Sound 84)- FF7?
Incorrect, way of base there champ.
(Sound 85)- Wolfenstein 3D
Correct.
3 out of 5 guesses ain't bad :)
EDIT: Answer for reply
Yes the character is OPA OPA.
As for image 45, this game is so not a rip-off of BB (although they are similar)
And finally, sound 84, I think it's very likely you have a MIDI version of it. :)
EDIT: Answer for reply #2
Well if you knew what game it was then you would know it's not a rip-off :)
EDIT: Answer for reply #3
So, you got it. Image 45 is Chack'n'Pop.
Which came before BB. :) Flag this | Edit this post |

| I know it was a honest mistake, just had to milk it a little :)
I like the new SPAM feature, I hadn't noticed it before.
EDIT: It says that JCal posted this message. not you. I thought he had picked up Bob Dole way of speaking. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Well, if it does not run well withouth lag, then it must run even worse with lag. Unless it's the new equalizing factor (after first giving us a crappy controller so no one can hit anything) now we will all have 400ms in ping with 25% packet loss, so people with good connection don't get the upper hand on people with bad one. | It remains to be seen if Arjun really is behind the company or if this is just a PR scam to get attention.
Well, of course it's a PR scam and it worked, otherwise you wouldn't be talking about it
PS. Isn't selling online game items illegal anyway. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Cool, Jacobs second official FiringSquad article. Can't wait to read it later.
EDIT:
If this system build guide is for gamers, then I don't see the point in going quad core (maybe to make the system future proof, but there is no such thing) in the $1500 build. So instead of the Quad Core 2.4GHz CPU, I would go for Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 Conroe 3.0GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor which costs $20 more. Link at bottom
I have to agree with others, that a sound card should be included in the more expensive builds. Using the same $50 case for $1500 and $500 build is a bit on the cheap side.
I agree with JBL about saying why you pick these components over others. I guess you choose the cheapest or the brand, if two items are closely priced.
I do like the introduction, I guess I just thought after reading the intro that there would be a bit more detail. I also like the more important hardware (CPU,MB,RAM,GPU) choices that were made, but like I said earlier sound card should be included in the more expensive builds. For example, Creative Sound Blaster SB0570 Audigy SE 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz PCI Interface Sound Card only costs $30.
