They shouldn't have shown that game during e3. As far as I'm concerned that game is a long ways off. And to think they're planning on making a trilogy.
You need good games to sell consoles. PSP doesn't really have any good games, they just have ports of ps2 games that don't really work on a handheld. If the ps3 has good games, then it will sell. Simple as that.
I remember people whining about Bale being cast as batman before the movie came out. So I'm pretty sure Nolan knows what he's doing when it comes to casting.
First of all, the ps2 is part of their games division, and the ps2 has been making money for them.
"Sony lost money off of the PS2 that is a fact that won't change unless something amazing happens over the next year."
That's what you posted and you are wrong. They make money off of the ps2 and it's games. It's called the razor and blades business model, you sell the console at a loss and make the money off of the games. You should learn about it.
"Also don't forget that the PS3 doesn't play DVD movies. "
You are wrong again, blu ray is backwards compatible with dvd movies. Also, the ps3 is backwards compatible with ps2 games, WHICH ARE ON DVD!
No, I doubt they will release Halo during the ps3 launch because of Gears of War. Microsoft is not going to screw over Epic by releasing Halo during Gear's release.
