| | No way am I going to buy this game when it comes out. I will wait for months and grab it when it is less than 20 bucks for a new copy. Moreover all the glitches will have been sorted out by then. I have given up beta testing brand new games especially when the console versions have been out for a while. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Honestly I enjoyed GoW for the PC quite a lot. The graphics were truly incredible and the environments just really awe inspiring and immersive. Sure it was on rails but I overlooked that really easily. Here is hoping some time down the road GOW2 gets released for the PC. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Steam has a demo. I am not sure if the full game is out yet but my brother loves the demo and thinks its gorgeous.
I think I am buying the GOTY edition from Amazon on the 20th when it is supposed to be available there. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | If you read the whitepapers and look at the general reception from the developers with regard to DX11 its quite positive. And seeing that ATI is going to be launching DX 11 hardware by the end of this year I think its going to be something great to look forward to as a gamer. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | In other words you are ok with the pricing? And while OS X is not a totally secure OS, it is better rated than Windows is. It is after all based on an inherently more secure OS but regardless of what OS you use, if the user is an idiot, then of course nothing can be done about it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Way too much. Prices should be halved for it to be considered to be fair...though I must say that SPs are free for us which is great and the OS IS supported for a long time...still...if Apple can do it at 129 bucks why cant MS? Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Not really that surprised. It is the same with IT workers everywhere. In fact it seems that if you have a brain and you use it in developing software, you are literally screwing yourself by giving yourself the short end of the stick. All the money and rewards just end up going to 'management'. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I think the IBM researcher has a point. I think a radical shift in computing as we know it will be needed. It's a cycle right? It's the same with a lot of things. I think especially with computers, the demand is there. With aircraft there just is not the demand to go faster than the speed of sound for a consumer product. I mean there was the Concorde and I would love it if it got brought back a bigger better version of it, but the market pressure for that kind of a product is virtually non existent.
As for the playing Crysis comment I lol every time I read that haha. But I still gotta say 60 fps is not needed for that game to play smoothly. :) So if you removed that requirement that game is completely playable. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Yeah Chrome's innovative sandbox approach is actually damn good. I am quite looking forward to the version 2.0 release of that browser though I really have yet to use the 1.0 release on my home machine. I am always a bit fearful of google and its privacy related stuff. Though there is a version out there called Iron based on the source code of Google's browser but with all the potentially nasty stuff removed from it. Flag this | Edit this post |
