"Efficient"? I'm glad that you weren't around when Einstein was alive.

XNA Express adds project types and other elements to C# Express. So, you supposedly can program from a high level or down into the details.

I'm interested to hear how people do with this. I've been having fun with it.

Warden for the score!

I've always felt that Phil was a hack and this just confirms it for me.

Why nobody spotlights parents and folks close to the shooters and their lack of attentiveness and supervision is beyond me.

Of course, easy availability of hand guns doesn't help either.

One thing that stands out is that he obviously knew how to handle the weapons and could do fast reloads. Even clips can take a while if you're not familiar with the weapon. To add to that, he had weapons with serial numbers filed off.

My point is that he did range time somewhere. And yet nobody noticed.

Well said...

Unfortunately when folks who knew the shooter are interviewed, we'll get the usual: he was a quiet guy, never caused any problems, was a good student, etc...

I know what you mean. It feels like Splinter Cell-Double Agent all over again performance wise. Yet another game pushed out and falling far short of expectations.

Interesting question? Your question implies that there is a world-wide government that could take those weapons away.

Not quite sure who that is. If you're baking upon the U.N., well... good luck...

At it again? I'd suggest that you look at the literacy rates and poverty levels of the majority of citizens in those countries instead of focusing on the elite few.

One wonders how much "cherry picking" went on in interview selections. My fear is not that many.

However, I'd be willing to be that in most countries you'll find equivalent levels of cluelessness...

Touché - Bringing up the war of 1812 is a sign of desperation considering we had only been around for 36 years. Interesting thing about the war of 1812 is that the Brit's left and didn't occupy us, so we lost how?

Excellent point... I just hope that they don't slip it too far. I guess that I'm spooked by games like STALKER and of course, DNF.

I love the series and hope that the game does it justice...

Kessandra's right - This member of the armed services commited a blatant violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).

If she was a civilian, I would agree with you, however she isn't and is thereby governed by the UCMJ which supercedes civilian law.

The Air Force is following the punishment guidelines spelled out in the UCMJ and applicable AF Regs.

You've got that right! Episodic content = faster turn around. How's that working for you Valve?

Of course, if they take less than 7 years to get it out, it is faster in their book.

My fear is that I'll die of old age before this storyline plays out... ;0)

You should publish, or link to, the schematics. It'd be a riot to start doing it a your local Starbucks...

Amen... I have the 500th Mac from the beginning and back then Apple was still the not-smug underdog with a great product. Since then they're getting high on their own marketing BS.

Like you, all that I see today when I encounter a Mac user is either somebody in grades K-12 or some tragically hip person like you described.

Also, Apple makes a killing on their margins. Some as high as 150% according to Business Weekly. They can gouge their audience because their system isn't open. It amazes me that the hip folks are willing to over pay just to be hip.
