| ERROR: No Video ID Assigned
Not working for me either.
@Yoda: Why don't you guys use an in-house FLV player? That way, you can keep the bit rate high. (like DICE did with BFheroes.com)
Or, you can just offer regular low quality FLV alongside an HD/SD version in WMV/.MP4. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Correct me, but doesn't every game-related-blogX nowadays is edgy/controversial/in-your-face etc etc? What's with site nowadays and their obsession to be "hip n kool" by rebelling against everything? There are already 100-150 high-traffic sites that are doing what you intend to do, why not stick to your original motto and bring news you did before?
I miss Jcal :( Flag this | Edit this post |

| | So journalism is about just criticising every topic for the sake of it? Commentary is always good, don't get me wrong. But It seems like every news post you make is filled with hatred and back-handed comments. I wasn't aware FS turned into Kotaku. but whatever, like you said, there are other resources on net, and from the looks of it, it's time to read them up. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I don't know what you're talking about...XP's driver support was pretty bad until late 2003. Vista's driver support was bad for 6-8months after it was launched, at this time, it's excellent with pretty much everything working like a charm. Granted, X-Fi's and most older devices have problems, but I fail to see how it's Vista's fault. Microsoft is a company and they want to make money, they will keep releasing new OSes, it's upto vendors to properly support the OS by providing drivers. With all that said, Vista's inbuilt driver support is pretty amazing. I was surprised to see Vista recognize my old HP 3745 inkjet and automatically install it (despite no official support from HP) My Canon IXUS 70 digicam also worked like a charm. The only thing that doesn't natively work (with USB, works fine with LAN) is my cheap-ass ADSL modem. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Here we go with the vista failure bullshit comments...I swere, this is the exact thing that happened when XP was launched. Oh well, nevermind. I'm happy with Vista, can't think of going back to something as inferior as XP now.
Enjoy your mass ignorance, people. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Ummm, it's not jealously, it's common sense. Any system equipped with E8400/2GB/8800GTX can play all the current games@1920x1200 maximum settings (except Crysis) with smooth fps. What else do you need? Aside from Crysis, there's no game on the planet that pushes hardware enough to warrant SLI/Quad SLI. Why do you think nVIDIA is rehashing GF8 instead of re-inventing the graphics card architecture? Adding more ram/gfx cards to your system won't magically make the game more better looking, not to mention there are things in life more important than PCs.
Get off your high horse. Your PC specs are average at best, stop being so egotistical. Flag this | Edit this post |
