| I starting to wonder if Microsoft is trying to damage the PC as a gaming platform to drive people toward the 360. Both Age of Empires and FlightSim where very well respected IPs and complex enough avoid being on the 360. With the original developers gone, they can hire a new crew and "arcade" the games enough to make them acceptable for the 360.
You have to remember that Microsoft doesn't get any licensing fee my every PC game sold. So, thus, it's in there best interest to push PC gamers onto the 360, where we can enjoy the privilege of donating a small portion to Microsoft for every game we buy. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I totally agree. I normally vote republican but after the past 8 years I've noticed that the republican are becoming more and more socialist, aka that dumb ass bailout. I decided not to vote out of protest. Also I do not know way people blindly follow Obama and worship him as a god. He's not nearly as good as a speaker and articulate as people make him out to be. I think that many democrats will be jaded after this term. In fact, I think no matter who needs he'll be a one term president. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I can barely play this game on "Mainstream", and when I turn on gamer settings the game crashes completely.
Athlon +5000 black edition OC'ed to 3.0GHZ
2 gigs of ram
4580
Funny thing is, the original Crysis ran much better than Warhead.
I'm hoping they will release a patch. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Funny thing is, when Starcraft 2 comes out and sells it's millions of copies, you see a whole bunch of RTS games come to the pc. Much in the same way, you saw MMO's come out after WoW. It seems like a total slap in the face to PC gamers that Microsoft would close this studio down.
What a shame... Flag this | Edit this post |

You have to realize that the sales spike was only temporary and will slowly dwindle. (although still higher than before) September sales of the 360 will be close/if not sightly higher than the PS3.
Like it or not. 360 and PS3 doesn't have the mainstream "attention" of the Wii. Frankly, I doubt that the 360/PS3 will ever out sell the WII in monthly sales basis.
To say:
"Besides it should sell WAY MORE then the Wii. Its $50 cheaper and has more AAA titles. it should sell more and not just equal to the Wii"
is downright idiotic. Flag this | Edit this post |

| The 4580 really should have had a dual-solt cooler. After I got mine, my computer started to crash from overheating. Replacing my old case with a new one solved the problem.
Btw. 4850 is a really good card, I can max out the graphics on every game I own. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Remember back to the days of Athlon XP? AMD was in pretty much in the same position that they're in now. The P4 was much faster than the Athlon XP; forcing AMD to lower their prices. Then the Athlon 64 came out and turned the tables.
The same thing just happened in the video card war. ATI's 4800 cards are much cheaper to manufacture than Nvidia's card. Ati can lowers their prices forcing Nvidia to lower their video cards in order to stay in the market. Thus, forcing Nvidia to either surrender and start over or take an loss financially.
Hopefully, AMD will pull a rabbit out of their hat with Shanghai.
Also, Amd's stock is insanely cheap at $5 a share. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Agreed, Vista runs fine on the right hardware. When Vista first shipped all of the hardware/drivers where designed with XP in mind. Alot of the early adopters got frustrated when there hardware would perform baddy or just not work. When I first upgraded I had throw out my t.v tunner and soundcard, so, I got pissed off at Microsoft and joined the Vista hate. But honestly, since I've upgraded my computer and am using rocksolid Vista drivers, I've been very happy with Vista. Flag this | Edit this post |
