The Wii reminds me of the Mac of the console world: Mainly casual games are released for it and good games come out for it years after their initial release on other platforms.
I agree with you about the Star Wars novels, although I'm not familiar with this author. This sort of reminds me of the Doom novels from back in the day and those were fun to read.
I thought Indy had more puzzles than the Star Wars games. I actually like that, though. It seemed to keep me more into the game. And like the review says, it's a blast to play along with someone in co-op.
I think the real reason he did it was because the kid was hanging out with Soldier36 too much and got so agitated at having to wait for Far Cry 2 that he had to act out ;)
I guess if you were into the Sims it would be a neat free add-on, but paying $20 to essentially give free advertising to IKEA seems weird. Imagine having to pay money for the old Capn' Crunch FPS.
