| The PR person that wrote that statement should get a raise. Impressively spun.
It's been a while since I found any of the live arcade offerings exciting but I'll take a free game any day as long as it is not some crap commercial/game for Doritoes or Toyota.

| Agreed. I think Mass Effect is an amazing game. No matter what I'm doing, I can't stop thinking "I'd rather be playing Mass Effect right now". It has it's flaws and quirks but as an overall package, I'm finding it simply enthralling.

| Hmmm... something seems amiss with the story title. A word in there just doesn't seem to belong... GOT IT! The word "Original" just doesn't make sense in this context as I can guarantee you the partnership of these two parties will result in anything but Originality.
Why does some overpaid and overrated hollywood producer think he can make games in the first place anyway? The GAMES industry really needs to quit trying to clone the movie industry and instead concentrate on making great GAMES.

| Well what about how much content you get for the price??? Prologue is supposed to only have a fraction of the cars and tracks that GT5 is supposed to have but yet they are asking 2/3 the price! I'll pay $20 for what they announced and maybe even $30 but $40 for an oversized demo is crazy.

| Wow, actually sounds like good stuff. Between this patch, the last, and all the downloadable content they released, it looks like the game is finally to where it should have been when it shipped. Too bad I had to wait almost a year and pay most of the extra content.

| he he... I still have my original Razer Boomslang. Came in a metal tin with a certificate of authentication stating is was #800 and something. Was certainly earth shattering for me at the time but the design doesn't hold up compared to Razer's newer better models.

| ^ He still writes a bit for CPU magazine. I've never agreed with his insights though. I'm also pretty biased against him since I still have nasty flashbacks of removing that god awful WildTanget software off of thousands of computers when I worked as a tech for a large inner-city school district.

| They still have a store ~45 minutes from my house. Of course I have a far superior MicroCenter ~45 minutes from my house too so it has been years since I stopped in a CompUSA. I think the last time I was in there I was looking for some high end DDR memory and they only carries PNY and CompUSA brand. Pathetic.

| HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! Brilliant! Just brilliant! So they want all the worst parts of a game made publicly available. We're going to have 10 minute youtube clips of nothing but the most violent gore filled footage from any upcoming game. Undoubtedly, within minutes these videos would find their way directly into the hands of the minors that the system is supposed to keep this content from. Brilliant.

| Bah, this is just what we need. Another humongous conglomerate multi-billion dollar game company like EA trying to take over the world.
Also, I agree with Yoshi. I don't like the idea of them taking advantage of the noble Blizzard brand. It will just be watered down in the process.
Of course my knee jerk reaction is negative and it is possible that I'm just being hasty. Does anyone see any possible benefits to us gamers in this?
