| Are we surprised? Of course an exec is going to tell us that there will not be a price drop. Even if it is true and they have to flat out lie to our faces, they can't say that. Obviously sales would go completely stagnant until the drop takes effect if they were to admit anything. Will there be one this year, likely, but don't go looking towards MS employees for confirmation one way or the other.

| The headline reads "Toshiba To Put HD-DVD Drives In All Laptops By 2008". So why does the article read that "Toshiba plans to offer HD-DVD disk drives for all of its laptops by 2008"? There is a BIG difference between PUTTING drives in all laptops and OFFERING drives for all laptops.

| Can anyone let tell me if Zelda 2 is worth it? Damn I wish Nintendo would offer demos for VC games. That and more storage. I've filled up my integrated 512mb already and they won't let you run software off of memory cards.

| That is all fine and dandy but where are the effing games?!? Motostorm is the only title that even remotely appeals to me ATM. Also, why wasn't a lowered price part of the firmware update? Now that would be a feature to get excited about.

| WTF?!? I sure hope this report isn't true. All I want is HL2 ep2 and maybe portal if it gets good reviews. I have no intention of paying for HL2 and HL2 ep1 again. Making me buy TF2, a game that doesn't really appeal to me, with the black box edition was bad enough. I will not pay for things I already own or don't want just because the developer says it is a good value. If this comes to pass, I'll skip the whole lot and wait for the software I want to be available individually on Steam likely 6 months later.

| I think it is kind of ironic to release the game free since used (or even new copies) can be found for $5 or less. :P On top of that, the game looked and played like Quake 3 when it was released and I can't imagine it has aged well in the last 5 years.

| Thank god Lucas Arts is finally doing something besides another Star Wars game. Back in the 90s the LA name meant innovation, quality, and fun. Nowadays it just seems to stand for cheap Star Wars cash-ins. Kudos to them for attempting to break their mold. Now, bring on Day of the Tentacle 2. :P

| Wow, that is awesome! Gametap really does just keep getting better and better. I have been debating between the PC and PS2 versions and had just settled on getting the PC version. Now, I don't even have to pay extra for the game, get better graphics than the PS2 version, and use my 360 controller via the wireless receiver. I'm one happy camper.

| Tell Tale has done an amazing job bringing this series back to life. My only complaint is that they halted work on the Bone episodes to complete the S&M games. Hopefully more Bone chapters are on their way soon now that S&M season 1 has completed.

The news is disappointing but if it means that the game will be that much better, then they can take all the time they need. My main worry now is that they are going to have to deal with A LOT of HEAVY competition this holiday season. I hope it doesn't get lost under the radar with the likes of GTA4 and Halo3 out around the same time.

| You get my vote Kevin. I really enjoyed the retrospective review. There are so many articles on the net dedicated to evaluating $3000 hardware but we rarely see anything about real hardware that real people use. It is so easy to get caught up in having the latest and greatest that we can forget that what we have will usually still accomplish what we want.

| Baffling as it is, I actually enjoyed the 3D Ultra Minigolf game on the PC. I'm gonna' play it safe by downloading the demo first but this should be a fun little diversion. Now if only they would bring the 3D Ultra Pinball games to XBLA, that would be awesomness.
