| Riiiight. If they're insane already blaming video games isn't going to do any good.
Hell, it might just as well be the next guy at the grocery store, or bank teller that sets an insane guy off...placing the blame on video games isn't going to help.
Besides, where's the recourse in this? Is Dr. Phil that fu@#*ng dumb?
Hello, he could've bought EVERY Rated M game he wanted. He's OVER 18. Musta definitely been GTA! Pffft!
Why video games? And not movies then? Flag this | Edit this post |

| G$DFU@#K#NDAMM#T!!!
These are not "kids". This is a college student who (albeit not quite all there) is fully aware of the consquences and reprecussions of an action like this. Hell, even the shooters at Columbine were psychologically competent to make this association.
If anything, the fact that they took their own lives afterwards signifies that they were aware that this isn't tolerated in (any) society today.
If anything, I agree (and tests have shown) that after playing (some) video games adrenaline levels have shown to rise. Ok, sure..I can go w/ that. But to make the jump from there to mass slaughter is a little steep unless you're (for lack of a better term) F#*$KNG CRAZY!!
No sane person, no matter however impressionable, would go out and perform Counterstrike IRL. I would think these concepts would be fully instilled by your pre-teen years.
Possibly the only situation I could see Dr. Phil's (and that 'tard Thompson's) argument is if it were a 3-10 year old.......or a really really really slow 11 year old. C'mon, don't laugh, you know you were one. Flag this | Edit this post |

| No. I suggest you learn to read and comprehend, in that order.
Cash and carry, while also a supermarket (that's actually written as Kash and Karry but I'm sure you conveniently ignored that) IS ALSO A TERM.
Geez, I have no idea how to help you if elementary humor is several levels above your modus operandus.
