| | Um no it wont,it will be popular but its not all that. Its still a game that caters to the sub teen/teenagers out there and not the true hardcore gaming age group that actually buy the good games. I see COD4,Bioshock and UT3 being more popular on consoles, Crysis on PC will be the game of the year for any system. Halo is for kiddies with kiddie graphics with all those jaggies, you can have it! | | Walmart shoppers dont decide the format war. Blu ray will win eventually. Yeh its cheaper to buy hd dvd now or at christmas, but watch and see. Im about to buy a blue ray bdrom for my pc since thats where i do most of feeding my brain, plus i have a hdcp video card and hdcp hd monitor. No im not paying $499 for a player either, $289 to watch blu ray movies on my pc will be worth it. Since my monitor is the same size as my 30 inch hdtv anyway. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | jesus, hardware is advancing faster than the average upgrader can even keep up. I just upgraded 3 months ago and I feel like Im already behind such a big power curve. Yet Im still in the top 10%. | | what im saying is ive been playing at 1600 x 1200 for 2 years, with a x800 pro agp card, on a 20.1 inch viewsonic flat panel. This panel that i paid over $1000 for 2 years ago is now had for $500 or less, pick one or go with even better apple cinema display or dell 24 incher or sonys 23 incher at 1900 x 1200... | | Monitors are getting cheaper all the time, yeh the ones that are running at 1600 x 1200 res I mean come on get with the program...Ive been playing at this res for over 2 years with a agp x800 pro.
