if you read the reports, it has nothing to do with heat. it happens to people after freshly turning on the console and the ps3 doesn't get very hot anyway. at least, mine doesn't.

I gotta say that in this case, the Sony spin machine is actually correct. I know that I never did anywhere near everything in any previous GTA game and I doubt I'll experience all the content in IV, so I'm highly unlikely to spend money on even more crap through downloads.

I have an X-fi and the damn thing literally half works in vista. If anyone tells you theirs works fine, they don't know what they're talking about. No dolby, no prologic, eax is broken in many games, including halflife2 episode 2. it's seriously retarded. Why can't they release a modern, pci express sound card created with vista in mind? I'd buy it if it gave me back full functionality.
