| Well, don't forget that by law we are legally entitled to "backups" of software and media. In many instances, for single player games, I loath having to insert a disc when I want to play a game. So if the game isn't available on steam, etc, I will download it.
I think the best solution is having enough online content that it would be (near) impossible to lose sales for a "good" game. Blizzard doesn't use any crazy tactics like securerom or any of that BS, yet somehow they manage to sell 10 bajillion units... Flag this | Edit this post |

| Hmm, I think we need someone to clarify. It has always been implied that downloading copyrighted content was illegal. But I can't seem to find any concrete documentation that says that. However, "distribution" of content that has a copyright is illegal and punishable by law.
So is this telling me its okay to download as long as I don't share?
lol... Flag this | Edit this post |

| I'd like to hear what FS has to say about Futuremark not having DX10.1 compatibility. Isn't this supposed to be a benchmark for the future?
How can it be for the future if it isn't even up to date?
Also, how much did nVidia pay to keep the software DX10.0 instead of 10.1?
Why would I pay for nVidia propaganda? Flag this | Edit this post |

| That was true probably a year ago, but not now... If a software manufacturer still hasn't release an update or new version that is vista compatible, the company is at fault, not MS or Vista.
Vista is a necessary step in the evolution of the OS. 64-bit support is MUCH better with Vista than with XP. Flag this | Edit this post |
