| | I agree, I would like to see some games in which gaming above 1024x768 with having to put settings lower (Oblivion for example) is not too beneficial (save for having to game at native resolutions perhaps) and to see how games perform when going higher than 1024 to see different levels of AA. | | Dx10 and Vista do not warrant my attention for a long while until after a few revisions and so on for Vista and video cards altogether. So that could be over a year (maybe slightly less time) when Dx10 becomes fully used and Dx10 cards start to use less power which is taking a backseat already. So that leaves my eye on a Radeon X1900XT 256MB since 512MB does not make too much of a difference for my intentions. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Unfortunately, fate decided otherwise that I had to replace a burned out Athlon XP, so I got myself a Sempron 3400+ after price cuts which works better regardless. If I had it any other way, it would have been an Athlon 64 X2 set of upgrades. :) For right now, AMD gets my vote until the C2D hype dies down a little and prices get lowered.
