Intel to release 80-core CPU's within 5 years.

I wonder if the Kinder chocolate egg company, or Cracker Jack desires to include Single core Cpu's as a surprise.

There are WAYYYY to many motherboards on the market now. Very few 6month old 775 boards even support core2.

This is very helpful. Good Job FS. I wonder if Core2 overclocks can sustain the same lifespan as a Celery550.

Does anyone know why the ATI CCC tray icon take a minute to load when windows starts up?
Would Bootvis solve this? Even after a reinstall of windows, I get this delay load.

Opteron165 2.5GHz + ATI X1800XL + 2GB Corsair + plenty of HDD's

Does it have something to do with .NET, and how can I speed/tweak it up?

Staying with X1800XL till DirectX10 and Hellgate comes out.

Probably will update my Opty165 to a Quadcore Intel at that time too. As long as the CPU don't cost more than $400 that is.

So what videogames were Emperors, Kings, and modern day government leaders playing when they decided to kill of millions of people and produce the industrial military complex that is today? Oh yeah, there were none. STFU to you all who blame video games. Life is a sine wave, with Sinners and Saints at the peaks, and everthing else in between. Sucks to have people kill innocent folks, that's just being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Shit happens. But now I say root out the internet blogs with those who also intend to kill. Come out Come out where ever you are you twisted bastards hiding behind RJ45.

Sierra Game Collections , a must have for those of you born after 1990. After playing this collection, you will finally understand why I say that 99% of games out now are nonsensical wasted cpu cycles of logic gated crap.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe in the 'losing money with consoles' propoganda one bit. I don't honestly think a Company wishes to lose millions of dollars to have children play games. It's more the other way around. They want to rake in the money...even from the get go.

FPS has totally moved in the wrong direction with Prey. It's like they just slap a virtual generic first person map with all graphical bells and whistles, and give the player a total disregard for purpose. Spin the map, make portals, who cares about gravity, who cares if you get total vertigo in the first 10 seconds, fire any ammo at whatever object as long as you click on that left mouse button, FTW.

I am also sick of the viewpoint that the FPS genre rehashes. I mean, yes , first person is needed, but for almighty sakes, why does the whole environment have to move around when 'mouse looking' -This has GOT to change. This makes me sick, and has done so since the first Wolfenstein game before Doom.

Long live RTS and CNC.

I already have my upconverting DVD recorder. I don't expect a Nintendo toy to have any one such feature, that is not what a console is for.

Talking out of my ass here, Engineers need to create a chip, that contains programmable future path logic. What I mean is, create a phat pipelined ultra fast and scaleable CPU/GPU that would simply require a flash update to create a new funtional CPU. Is that out of reach?
