| It's just plain old dual socket mobo setup to work with a pair of their dual core processors. It's not even remotely exciting or "new".
It's a non-issue. Intel could have an answer to them with Woodcrest based desktops, if for some reason this catches on with enthusiast that can't wait 6 months or so.
Personally, I'll wait till K8L or Kentsfield (which now that we've seen their new naming scheme, will invariable be called the Core Quad Extreme 2+ Super Deluxe Edition Live-FTW!!1one!) before I start to worry about "needing" 4 cores. Flag this | Edit this post |

| If the parent or guardian of a youth is too stupid to nearly instantly "unlock the mysteries" of the simple-assed rating system in place no on music, tv, games, movies, etc. They quite obviously are too stupid to even BE parents, remove the children and shoot the morons and give the kids to parents that pass a basic test.
Hell yes! Kid-license!
It's not like this crap is the naming scheme of processors of the last couple of years!
I swear, stupid should be painful... Flag this | Edit this post |

| Don't blame the video game. It could have been a magazine or book, so no reading at work.
It could have been a blond, so no women at work.
It could even have been a big mac that distracted him, so no eating at work!
A negligent employee is a negligent employee, it doesn't matter what the "reason" is.
Just like blaming D&D and Rock-n-roll for kids killing themselves, people look for someone to blame. Some kids are just screwed up and kill themselves.
And some employees are just lazy and or negligent and don't care about their job, only their paycheck. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Oh please, if you think most, if not all, ISPs don't already keep this data, even if it's not used at all, you're deluded.
Quite legitimately, they already have this stuff in place for internal performance adjustments, diagnostics, etc.
They may not packet sniff you to the extent that uncle sam wants them to, but if it's data sent over their network, they know who sent it, where it was going and where it came from. To think otherwise is pure folly. Flag this | Edit this post |

| A Sony corperate mouthpiece made a statement? Well, stop the presses! I'm sure he said the full and total truth! Nope. No PR man I've ever seen has ever made misleading statements or outright lied, no sir!
The truth is likely that if Sony *CAN* manage to get away with banning 2nd hand sales, they WILL.
If they don't, it's likely because they CAN'T.
But rest assured, I'm fairly certain that they will TRY. :)
Oh come on! That filter is horrid!
A S S U R E D is *so* not a "bad word". Help! The filter tried to touch me where my bathing suit covers! Flag this | Edit this post |
