| couldn't agree more, mate. What turned my stomach was ff8, a supposed melodrama littered with romance. I like ff7. I love ff5 and 6. I hated character designs by the kingdom heart director, nomura and the jpop theme songs. It was slightly better at ff9 with anime-ish design. But alas, ffx, back to ladyboy design. And I'm not a fan of the mmorph-ish game play in ff12.
Yoshitaka Amano needs to do the character design again, even though his design would be tough to be reproduced in full 3D. I read somewhere that ff13 would be back to the usual ff again. I hope it's pre-3D ff. Flag this | Edit this post |

| well i hate to sound like a sony fanboy, since i have all 3 of them.
The cons fs listed could be addressed with future firmware update and when they move to 65nm process next year, maybe there'll be a nice price drop.
I do agree that the overhype the pr threw out did the machine more disservice. As much as I love the wii, I fear after the initial freshness of the control would wear off. It's slowing becoming another gba/ds. You bought the system to play nintendo games, which are good by all means. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I got the core pack as a free gift after buying something else.
And it's been collecting dusts since to save games you need the ripoff hdd or ripoff memory. I dont mind cabled controller, but for the 720p I need another component cable, which is pretty affordable. Until blue dragon's out... it'll be dusty. :D since ps2 still has some life left...
