| | Or rather than admit from the begining on launch day that they could never fulfill their previous promise - like sony admited - they lied so as to not catch as much flak from people. Now a month later when the hard core have their systems and tempers have cooled they slip an 'accidental' sentence stating how low their quantaties really were. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I could buy a PS3 off of one weeks paycheck and I suspect many others could as well. The price argument is flawed, it comes down to how much value people percieve is in the PS3 and if they are willing to pay for it because if you are, it doesn't matter how much it costs.
I also disagree with your HD-DVD addon argument. Your assuming 5 million people will buy the HD-DVD addon - maybe over the lifetime of the system. Historicly addon's never do well and although this is a unique situation, it adds nothing to the performance or gameplay value of the system. I say it's up in the air Flag this | Edit this post |

| come on guys, this is a big deal. It's a great game and doesn't need any more content.
I'd like to compare it to the 360 version to see if there's less pop up - when trees and buildings in the distance pop on the screen as they often do on the 360. Flag this | Edit this post |

| First – where did you read that N would have 4 mil units by end of calendar year? N said 6 million total units by end of FISCAL year.
Nintendo has brainwashed kids since the beginning of it's inception; especially with the insidious "Nintendo Power" magazine. Nintendo is the father of crap brainwashing press.
Anyone older than 18 will tire of this system in 10 minutes flat, and those younger than 18 will wish they were 18 so they could buy a PS3 Flag this | Edit this post |

| Chavez is totally evil. He owns Citco, one of the oil companies that illegaly set gas prices. Then he puts on a robin hood act by giving away a small amount of oil to the poor.
Remimber that 75% of his country (He's the President of Venezuala) is in poverty. He's a Billionare. It's been suggested that he also has ties to Fidel Castro.
If you can't see how evil he is get the facts. Don't just rely on that idiot Danny Glover and the left media to warp your mind. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » brainwash PR This is all marketing PR bs. Sure sony will only have 400k on launch day, but then another 1.6 million over the next month and a half!
So is this 1 million WiiWii units on launch day? or 1 million before Christmass.
Also, the statement "Microsoft had about the same number of units for the Xbox 360 US launch in 2005." further misleads the reader. Microsoft had this many on launch day and only a few hundred k extra through the rest of the year. How quickly we forget how terrible the 360 launch was... after launch day the system almost couldn't be found for several months. Flag this | Edit this post |
