Utter nonsense. Silicon Knights just blew what little interest people had in their game. As if Epic would randomly pick a developer to screw over. Unreal Engine 3 is used by a many developers these days and no one else has complained.
Well, Epic just knows how to code a damn good engine. They're using DX10 mainly as a performance increaser and not much of a eye candy increaser. Though there are a few DX10 advancements in visuals as well.
Well, in all honesty. I think they just don't want to go up against Halo 3 during the holiday season. I'm hardly a Halo fan and would definitely buy UT3 over it, but it's got the popularity for some reason.
Somehow they have a league of fanboys that will go out and actually buy their overpriced crap so they feel it's justified. Anything over 75fps is worthless anyway since that is the average refresh rate for monitors, this graphics war is for suckers.
I'll wait for more ATI offerings because they actually know how to price their hardware.
Crap like this makes me want to vomit. Violence has always and will always be a part of humanity. People were killing each other way before electricity came around.
It's a must buy. One of the few 360 games that I absolutely must own. It's not anything new really, every thing in the game has been done before for the most part. It's just how the game is put together that makes it so much fun to play.
