I dont hear of any HD-DVD movies that have been announced yet to all you Blue-Ray Naysayers & 360 fanboys like Yoshi. looks like B-Ray will become the Next G standard, not because of consoles or players etc but rather because or Sonys dominance in the movie studio industry will push it. | | You are correct SureShot, Microsoft in all there wizdom failed to include a HD-DVD drive with the xbox. Why? 1. Because they doubt its viability in suceeding against sony, and 2. It would make the xbox 360 more expensive to produce than the PS3. So as Sony has a far greater hardware manufacturing ability than microsoft, It wont take long for them to ramp up production to a level where the price falls into line with the 360. plus you are getting a future proofed console right from the beginning, where as 360 early adopter will have to go out and buy a stand alone HD-DVD drive to plug into it, shock horror the price now ends up the same! | | Yoshi, How much is Microsoft paying you to spout all your bias nonsense against Sony?, using your logic we would still be using cassette and VHS tapes, just because DVD is not absolete in YOUR view, does that mean we shouldnt develop and introduce something better. you go by the "if it aint broke dont fix it" mentality, and that my friend is flawed thinking. in three years time I wonder if you will be saying the same things once blueray is in the mainstream. | | Couldnt have said it better, the 360 is only doing well in NorthAmerica, you 360 fanboys will have to learn that. yes ps3 is expensive, but no more than a high end graphics card like a radeon X1900XTX which will be obsolete in 2years whereas the ps3 should last 5 or until the next generation, buy a 360 if you cant afford a ps3 losers.
