| | CPU's are longer term investments compared to graphics cards. Right now the Core 2 Duo is the best bet to upgrade. Once new, more powerfull graphics cards are released (pretty much every year) the CPU will have more of an impact on performance. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I think its more than just the cost to gameplay duration. When I purchase a game I invest my money and time in order to get a reward from playing and completing that game. The reward is directly related to the time and effort invested in that game rather than the cost. What is happening with episodic content is that the cost of the game is reduced, the gameplay duration is reduced and most importantly, the time and effort invested in playing what is in essence a continuation is reduced even more and so are the rewards. I remember the end of the second Matrix movie where it said "to be continued" and that totally drained any entertainment I received from watching the movie. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I think HDR lighting looks great although the night scene from Far Cry is poorly done in HDR. The simple fact is you can look directly at the moon without your vision being impaired. Without HDR the scenes look like they are shaded rather than lit. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I was in Ottawa for the Canada Day festivities when the peeing incident occured and let me say that the 5 portable toilets that our beloved government of Canada provided the tens of thousands of people and the absence of public toilets in Ottawa contributed to that situation. The restaurants and bars were so full you could not get in to eat let alone piss. Yes, it was a poor choice to use the National War Memorial but public urination cannot be stopped in a situation like that. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | It's SMART cause you can build it to your liking. It's also a Mercedes (at least in Canada) and it comes with all the Mercedes goodies like Electronic Stability Program, ABS w/Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Cornering Brake Control, Brake Assist, Acceleration Skid Control, as well as a standard 6-speed sequential transmission with available paddle shifters.
