| With only one game worth getting At the moment, is anyone REALLY that surprised they are sitting on shelves? No Must-Have app that makes it worth spending $600 on.
Sony rushed the release to make the holiday season at the cost of unfinished titles, online play, firmware, etc.
I was a HUGE Ps3 fanboi but I ended up buying the 360 because of GoW. Love my 360 but damn there is a MASSIVE FPS to Other genres ratio. And I wish the backwards compatibility was better and for gods sake hurry up and get Blue Dragon released in the states. Enchanted Arms as the only japanese RPG you can get? Bleah. Its not bad, but not great. I rented it and I'm having a real hard time spending $59 on it even after getting like %20 through it.
Er, anyway ... the point I'm making is that the games mean everything. Technical specs are give and take between the two systems. Flag this | Edit this post |

Yeah, I think $259 seems more expensive than I was hoping considering what you get. If it was $200 or under I would have grabbed one just out of curiosity, but $259....I'm slightly hesitant. Dunno why $59 makes a big difference. *shrug*
Well, actually it does come with one game if I heard that correctly.

You know what really pisses me off? You just KNOW that Loken has a thing for Uwe (pronounced Oovah). She recently was heard saying something to the effect of "This whole thing is wacky, thats what I love about [Boll]" concerning those boxing matches. And she is now in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS GODDAMN MOVIES. DAmmit...well crap as long as she shows more boobage then fine....

Wow.
I am the least critical person I know when it comes to movies, but I could BARELY stand watching either of those. I felt embarrassed for the actors while watching them.
Seriously, go play Alone in the Dark and then come back and tell me how good the movie was.
And you are missing the point anyway. The point is we want to see movies based off of some of these games, but unfortunately the scripts get ass raped by boll. I would LOVE to see the ORIGINAL script for AitD made into a movie. Something true to the games.

| headphone reviews are incredibly subjective, but even this review doesn't even make any attempts at comparisons. Without comparisons ... its hopelessly useless.
Seriously, how does the surround sound compare with other 5.1 headphones? I'm assuming these are surround headphones, the review doesn't even really say that for sure (although it can be safely assumed considering there are 4 drivers on each side).
Is the sound quality good enough that I don't have to switch back and forth with these and my HD580s for casual music listening?
Just something to think about for future headphone reviews.
Anyhoo, I have a pair of gainward sound xplosion 5.1 headphones and some Speedlink Medusa 5.1 headphones. The medusa headphones are incredible once you tinker with the equalizer on your soundcard. An acceptable substitute for my sennheiser HD580s/Westone UM2s when I'm just casually listening to music.
Love the heck out of my medusa's. Wonder how they compare to the razers...

I think $20 for the HL2:E1 was a bit too high actually, although I didn't hesitate a moment to pay that much. If each episode is about 1 hour long with a new episode each month...is $5 a good price? Works out to be about 12 hours of gaming for $60. we've paid $49 for 5 hours of gaming on titles that took 3+ years of development.
I would be incredibly surprised if they charged $10 an episode (again, we're talking about buying them through telltale's site not gametap). Seems like a price that high would turn off a lot of people. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I hope people are smart enough to make this a success. This is a genre we VERY much need around. Day of the Tentacle and the original Sam and Max are still among the most memorable games I've ever played.

Its a simple little news item. Its only saying that Pre-RC1 is out, and its showing improvement over previous versions. Device support has been improved and overall performance has been improved. I don't see what you possibly could have gleamed from that that resulted in your little tirade here where you repeatedly go off on fat people with ADD and bees in their pants (bit of a fixation with fat people there? Or did you just hear this joke a while back and were sitting around waiting for the chance to use it?).
Exactly what have you added to the conversation that disputed ANYTHING that has to do with the ACTUAL news story posted? Can you say there are no performance gains? can you say that device driver support isn't any better? If not then shut the hell up.
