» this is for average joe if this is for the average joe than good for them! and good for maybe our future handheld devices? so this does not affect me as i like playing games that demand powerful graphics cards! And i doubt this will replace high end graphic card stuff because why would ati or nvidia want to lose out to that part of the market? building gpus i mean.. even to the low end market. I only see amd and ati wanting a piece because intel already have intergrated graphics boards.
If intel and AMD shift the low end gpu to their CPUs than ati and nvidia will no longer have the edge. Intel wouldnt be affected cuz they already have intergrated graphics ?? so theyd be fighting themselves hehe jk.
yah i dunno why ati would want a piece of this. Unless its a joint venture which would be pointless since ATI is one of the biggest player that provide graphics for mobile devices.
So Nvidia would lose out in the long run because it doesnt really have ne reason to persue this? since they do not make cpus...
correct me if i am wrong? but this just looks like amd+ati trying to muscle in on intel's intergrated graphics.
