The graphics already look dated on the Wii. People are buying this console because it has exclusive content, the content is fun, the price is cheaper, and the games are easily accessible to even previous non-gamers; not because of the super-uber graphics. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I think these retail "packages" are a completely sleazy way of making sure that retail boxed products don't undercut the prices charged directly on Steam.
In the past HL2, EP1, Sin Emergence etc. were always cheaper to get at retail at one point or another. If there is only one product that contains a package of games available at retail, then the masses who already have HL2 et. al. will be forced to buy EP2, TF2 directly through Steam. It makes business sense on paper I'm sure, but I hope there is a serious consumer backlash which makes them alter their business model. Flag this | Edit this post |

3) Make it extremely annoying (not to mention expensive) to be a PC gamer by requiring new hardware and software (Vista), thus providing the incentive for the PC gamer to just buy an xBox 360. Let's not forget that Vista borks EAX support too. Flag this | Edit this post |
