What alot of people, who are younger fail to realize.. The COST of health is the issue. This isnt about insurance, and such.. To lower the actual cost, requires overhaul. For instance, a person 38 making 70k a year is good to go, except if that person gets sick. Take MS for example, it is rare, yet happens. the monthy medicines from the pharmacy just to TREAT the disease is $2200 for the shots, 5-600 for the other meds.. Cool person has insurance, been doing the right thing for entire life.. now all of a sudden doom,, cant do those things.. Cant afford the basic medicine to treat the illness..
Im all for Doctors making >150-200k a year.. they deserve it. Nurses same thing, they deserver it. BUT for a doctors practice to have 30% of your income, paying a person, just to squable with insurance companies, is just crazy.. ME peronally i have free health care with the company.. My last job, well that was 800 a month, just for me.. YAH that is sick..
Some of my IT contractor buddies are droppin 500 a week.. and that is just the cost.. of health insurance.
The USA is the most advanced country on the planet, yet right over any of its 2 borders, you can get health care costs, at a fraction of the cost.. In canada, it is 10-25 cents on the dollar for drugs.. FOR THE SAME DRUG!!!!!!!

When i went to see Rocky Balboa, i can guarantee you, that 80% of the crowd, were in their 30's to young 40's.. IE when when first blood came out, 31 YEARS ago, then us 30something's can relate to it. And with First Blood in 1984, IE 23 YEars ago, us old peeeps, remember it, hence Stallone's marketing on the people who have seen his movies, in the Theateres before. NOT THE YOUNG Noobs, who have to resort to dvd and of all things VHS (remember those)..

I admit, newer action movies are just re-makes of many previous movies.. Sometmies, people actually go to the movie, to see the Actor play his part, not so more so, the movie..
And these internet movie critiqs now adays, need to chill.. Not everyone is generation Y, There are still a ton of us GEN x's, and Baby boomeres, who go see movies like this. We arent the fad bit interested in seeing Leonardo de-caprio (spelling),, in a gangster movie, when we all grew up on Stallone, Arnold, Bruce, Vandam, Segal.. These new action guys,just arent doing it for me..
BUT yah, i cant wait for this movie..

Maybe small company sites limit you..
But the majority of sites avaliable, especially the large ones, have no limit. I routinely download from sites at 1.7-3 MB's.. Comcast can sign me up brother...
Cost will be decent as well.. FOR verizon already has a high speed competitor to the comcast.. and in some parts of the country, you can get 20mb, down, and UP.. for $100 a month.. this just rocks..
Also to the people who said, "who needs that" remember back in 1999,, only 8 years ago, a 56k modem connection was $20-$30 a month, with ISDN hitting for $>140 a month.. AS i had an ISDN line..

| What that paper ment, is alot clearer today, then on monday. This guy, wasnt crazy, or insane.. HE prepped, planned, tested, and executed his plan very calculating and very clear. Had enough to pre-send out his video's and notes to msnbc.
Just looking at his videos, this young man possed Aton of anger. In his plan, he switched from being a sheep to a wolf... Meaning, that someone pissed him off to the point, where he just snapped.. we all have that ability, to do such things, yet our own personal selves prevent us from doing certain things.. Some of those kids at that school had to do something ... AND yes there are always reasons, maybe some that people dont understand.. but to plan something like this 3 months in advance, isnt the sign of a nutcase, but someone serious.. to execute 30+ people. with 2 pistols, is very precise... not the act of a reckless idiot..
NOW its wednesday, and by monday night, we have all these kids hosting candlelight visals, and internet blogs, pictures, video's,,
IE sheep, not caring about about anything else but themselves.. IE sheep'...
Now regards to sheep dogs, well.. it is easy to blame the police, yet most people, do not want a police officer in their midst, all the time.. they feel threatened,, worried.. HENCE if the police did a full breech, or had high security around the campus.. all the rich kids would get uptight, their parents would definelty get uptight...(if you say no, then obviously you are not seeing what the world sees')...
Now the Young man, the Sheep that was turned wolf.. Well nuff said.. Not crazy, not insane, just tired of whatever he was going through.. and decided to put it down on the people who caused his grief...
How can i say this easily? WELL after growing up, where i did, doing the military thing, just seeing how my friends were killed, for MUCH LESS reason than what this guy had.. yah, i know.. Everyone is like OMG, he is crazy.. NO,, he got really pissed, and it became payback time.
I have a friend who has over 40 (1 on 1) confirmed kills as a sniper. IS he crazy? insane?
I myself have taken 15, 3+3+4+5. 2 tanks with a tow, 1 apc (we counted the skeletons), and 1 truck, via a laser guided munition... am i crazy? insane? or did it do it for god corp and country.. now being in the military, doesnt mean i have a free pass.. it means that my job consisted of doing things, that snobby people consider crazy or mentally disturbing..
Now this kid, a civilian, but took it upon himself to punish those, however it seems .. naaa he wasnt crazy,, he was just focused..

| Actually, being on alert is the ideal position to be in. Most criminals, target WEAK minded individuals, careless people.. Example, woman walking down the street with ipod in full blast, carrying her purse.. GOTCHA..

Ideal solution would be to have 1 ARMED security officer in every dorm.. (PARENTS would have a fit, as well as students.)..

To buy a new hand gun, like a 9mm, cost about 400-600 depending on model, and such,,,
I can get one illegally at a gun show, or from a shady character for 50-75.. that ends your pathetic excuse. it is easier to get one off the street, than to go the legal route.. and in the United states, it is almost impossible to stop that.. so best route, is to deal with it, and learn to work with it.

| Nothing like being an american patriot. With 17 small hashmarks on my shoulder to remind me, constantly that i assisted in putting 17 people to their graves. am i proud of that fact, NO!!, because it still haunts me.. BUT
As an american, that was my choice, and honor to be a US MArine. I traveled the world. and met many peeople who dis liked the US. The europeans, asians (all of asia) remind me of Sheep. Taking life as it is dictated to them. Eating away at lifes gift.. I view North Africa and the Middle East, as very strong. But not willing to progress as fast as they possibly could. BUT the one thing that is said, is that everyone Hates the United States.
I wonder why.. Is it because the US is RICH.. (LOL,, i wish that was the case myself, lol)
Or arrogant.. Or pushy??
Envy is something that comes to mind. IN america, even with all the racism that goes on in its borders.. This is a very free country..do what we want, say what we say,, life of sheep. (yah americans are sheep as well).. BUT.. Insted of acting like bullies, we act responsibly.. OBviously, someone will think differently..
Look at IRAQ.. Some people (SHEEP) would rather have sadam still in place, killing 100's ofthousands of people, just to do it. He was a threat, needed taken care of..

| Actually, as a witness to Desert Storm 1. And i Kid you not. Before i was feet dry, in saudi, i was extremely worried. After seeing the True American Military machine in action, now that is a different story. Talking as a US MArine, Infantry man, i tell you, what every person really knows, but doesnt want to admit.
Wars are won and lost on the ability of the side that is willing to risk it all. People say loss of life, like it is a news commercial. I have seen the aftermath, that most americans can not fully understand.
WW2, we started late and still WON
Korea- Draw, But i tell you, and as a marine tehy forced Marine Histroy down our throats, That The US won the Battles, but not the war. MEANING politicians lost the stomach for the war,
Vietnam- Loss.. EVEN though we won the battles, the kill/loss ratio was redicilous,..War was won number wise, but the government and the people could not stomach the loss of life..
Desert Storm 1- Well, that was a straight up Slaughter, PERIOD. AND we were fighting a force that realistically should have been a better fight. Except that this was a popular war, Bush SR, had the support, and he unleashed The "Dogs of WAR" MEaning everytyhing but NBC (Nuclear, bio, chem) weapons. And it was just plain DEVESTATING... less than 150 american deaths, compared to over 100,000 Iraq's deaths..
In a warriors eyes, that is Victory
Now With 911, everyone is all digital, and phony patroits.. Bin Laden, iraq-2, and afghanistan, well, people look at that as a loss.. HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT. 2000 years.. Constantly at war. The winner, in any war, is the side, that keep their citizens at bay, and preform War, as it should be. UPFRONT, personal, and to the point.
Not complain about occupation, middleeast policys, peoples opinoins, (who havent worn a uniform)..
If you think this is BAD, wait until the next major WAR.. And all you have to do, is read a history book. History has a BAD habbit of always repeating itself. I predict next war within 10-15 years, that it will be a serious engagement.
INteresting Article, that in my opinion makes up the Bulk of the civilized world population.

Cops eat, sleep, put on clothes just like you and i. Power has a way of changing someone. I have had a cop pull his badge on me, and had his gun on his dash board. Attempting to threaten me. (about my wife off all things).. Pulled my trusty glock 10mm, said, do what you gotta do...
ANd it did get touchy..
In this case, if a cop was beating someone, you best believe, i will just sit there and watch. No need in jumping into anything with anyone, With a gun, about something you dont know about.

ON the flip side.. i have seen people talk smack to a guy, get into a fight, only to get PWNED, and then cuffed, when the guy they were talking smack to was a under cover US marshall.. Classic moments we live in.

BUT more importantly, America may not actually win the war per say, but needless to say, that any war taht americans fight can be WON!!. the option to not do it prevails.

Persian Gulf 1- Desert Storm. Talk about a Azzz whipping..
Persian Gulf 2- Iraq whatever. Same thing, tons of kills, but not enough stomcah to finish it.

| Here is the kicker..
The TAX on a 100,000 house in detroit , is 3.5%
WHICH is insane.. AND on top of that, you have to pay a seperate fee for garbage pickup.
I looked at a house couple days ago, in detroit. 3100 sq feet. they wanted 275,000... which means 5000 a year in taxes+garbage fee. AND to top it off this same house is 2 blocks from a number of crack houses..
ANd the biggest slap in the face. On woodward and grand boulevard. Home of the old GM building. They are selling condos, at 200,000 starting price. Walk accross the street, and you have a liquor store, with its share of shootings. OR walk accross the other street, and there is a strip mall, with only 30% occupancy. Mostly bootleg clothing and such. AND if you feel brave, just walk down the sideway, and get pestered with people asking you for money..
