| This is sad because I own a PSP and I really wanted UMD format to take off. But this is a good example where greed can kill a product. Sony could have had alot of fans if they would have allowed movie studios to make their own discs and made them cheaper to produce instead of forcing the movie studios to send them the software and they create the disks. I would not pay more than $9.99 for a UMD movie, especially since I can often get the same higher quality DVD for the same price or lower.
$20-$30 for a UMD movie that can only be played on a PSP is ridiculous. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I wonder if game publishers will lose money. Its easy to create cross platform games (well relatively speaking), but to redesign your game so that it takes advantage of the Wii's controller, it will be interesting to see how that plays out. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Who has any free PCI slots for a Physics card? I sure don't. One Geforce 7800GTX, one NVIDIA DualTV MCE tv tuner card, one Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS, one ATI HDTV Wonder and my computer is filled up. I couldn't add a Physics card even if I wanted too. To bad you can't add a Physics chip to a feature connector on a graphics card that doesn't occupy an extra slot. Flag this | Edit this post |

| The ATI comment is useless. The gamecube could have an X1300 graphics controller and that could allow it to display graphics much better than those seen at E3. Graphics capability mean nothing if you don't have the horsepower to drive them.
BTW, I still think not having HD support is a major loss. I felt even the original Xbox graphics looked much improved when going from SDTV to HDTV (via component cable). Flag this | Edit this post |
