| Exactly.
I wouldn't surprised if these people were being ushered to say this by Sony.
That or they're just the typical idiot bandwagon types that parrot everything they read on Kotaku without actually thinking about it first. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Exactly like Hot Coffee, except I assume that this was content actually meant to be in the game in the first place.
There is another exception, the included content still fits well within the game's M rating, and isn't really much more violent at all.
Try shooting a hat wearing Korean soldier so that his hat falls off, then shoot the hat prop on the ground. You'll put bullet wounds in it, since they forgot to turn it off for that model. Flag this | Edit this post |

| A "game" whose entire premise is exercise (but not fun or themed exercise like DDR) sells over a million.
Kane and Lynch sells over a million.
UT3 and Crysis are struggling.
Please excuse me while I shoot myself. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I remember back when this game was hyped as the Second Coming and people were falling all over it, much as is happening with Call of Duty 4. I wonder if it too will fall into obscurity relatively quickly once its momentum stops. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I quit playing when Tommy said "You know I don't believe in any of that spirit crap" with a straight face to his disembowelled yet apparently unharmed grandfather after dying and going to a fantastical ghost world guided by his long deceased pet hawk. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | There are many mods out there designed to restore the original level of realism implemented in the game (which included non-ghostlike ragdolls, better ragdoll physics, the ability to punch Koreans while holding them, a proper strangling animation and not the awkward slow motion trance they go into now, bullet wounds on bodies, etc.) The patch deliberately (I and many believe) breaks these so they no longer function. Crytek, or more likely EA, has been extremely paranoid about people bringing this content to the surface. This is made apparent by the fact that any thread on the official forums will instantly be locked if it even discusses modifying the ragdoll behaviour in any way, let alone adding blood. This includes the crymod.com modders' help forums, meaning that even completely original mods which have a differing amount of blood/ragdoll involvement from the original game can't be discussed on there at all. | It's months overdue because it was promised to be out shortly after release and there were absolutely critical problems with the betas that could have been fixed very simply (and I say that objectively), but never were.
My system is high end, and I saw no performance benefit whatsoever. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I am furiously disappointed with this joke of a patch. Tens of minutes to extract, crashes if you don't re-install the game, no discernible performance improvement at all on many systems (including mine), breaks the uncensoring mods, doesn't fix any of the real issues with the game, and it was months overdue. The support for this game is an absolute trainwreck, what a waste... Flag this | Edit this post |

| Plenty of cards run it on high settings with 30 to 40 fps at reasonable native resolutions.
There aren't cards that run it on the future tech (very high) settings at that frame rate, because those settings are for, you guessed it, future tech.
It's not complicated, but I forgive you because everyone's making this mistake, over and over, loudly. Flag this | Edit this post |

| So, it's not even a trailer, it's a teaser.
And it's not even the teaser, it's a screenshot previewing the announcement of the trailer.
It's a preview to a teaser of a trailer...
Hell feels just about the same as always right now I think. Flag this | Edit this post |
