Hmmm...
Looks like 2007 is getting fun for PhysX
Infernal, Cellfactor, and now Warmonger...and more on the horizon.

"Jacob the real question is how can ANY single player FPS keep anyones attention for more than 20 hours?"

Sounds like you never gamed the first Unreal.
Just because most games today are made for kids and is all about eye-candy, dosn't mean that singlepalyer games can't be better than online FPS...with loads of kids and "+30 hits before you die" games...far from it actually.

Butthen again, looking at your games list, itseems you are not to old, might be the answer...

"Nice work finding 20 PC games."

It's actually easy.
I can find even more(and some better than those on the list) with ease:

I wonder why the *beep* "World in Conflict" is not on that list...

OC'ing a 16 pipe 7800GS core hardly compares to a 24 piped Gainward? :S

We are talking (stock):
Shaders - 6000 Operations/sec vs 10800 Operations/sec
Pixel fill rate - 3000 MPixels/sec vs. 7200 MPixels/sec
Texture fillrate - 6000 MTexels/sec vs. 10800 MTexels/sec
Vertex operations - 562.5 MVertices/sec vs. 900 MVertices/sec

In order for a standard 16 pipe 7800GS to achive such a prefomance it would have to run at these speeds:

Shader Operations: Core 675MHz
Texture Fill rate: Core 675MHz
Vertex Operations : Core 600MHz

Show me a 16 piped 7800GS running at those specs please?
If not you "comparion" between a (stock) Gainward 7800GS+ to an (overclocked) 16 piped 7800GS has no foundation in reality...
