| first off, this isn't bait and switch. That would be when they advertise a product to get you in the store, then tell you they don't have it so you have to buy this other one or get nothing at all.
second of all, this guy didn't buy it like that anyway. He bought the drive, went home and took it out of the box and replaced it with tiles, then tried to take it back and get another drive for free so he could have 2 for the price of 1. He got caught and now he's trying to make best buy look bad. Flag this | Edit this post |

| why are people complaining?
Maybe because some people work hard for their money and most of it goes to paying the bills. Not leaving enough extra to spend on new entertainment toys. Not everybody has a rich mommy or daddy that can buy them everything they want. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | How about testing it on an hd tv instead of projector? I don't know why it would make a difference, but the upscaled dvd on my LG hd tv looks like the hd pictured here, it looks nothing like the crappy dvd pictures attached to this article. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » ads! Ads are not a problem, they are not intrusive. They are not like commercials, they don't interupt gameplay. I usually don't even notice them.
The poll shows where the true problem is. Too many people are scum sucking pirates, thus causing the revenue to not be there. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Having laws restricting certain games to adults helps the parents be responsible for their kids. If the parents want their kid to have the game they can go out and buy it for the kid. This way the kid can't sneak behind their backs and go buy it themselves. I don't have a problem with laws that restrict sales of certain items to minors. It's not like they are passing outright bans on the games, just trying to make it easier for parents to supervise. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | probably never since it isn't a poor piece of hardware and has no more problems than most others. It's just getting blown way out of proportion by the anti-microsoft fanatics because it's the biggest selling console of the new generation. I don't know a single person personally that has ever had a problem with the 360. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » what a bunch of whiners whats wrong with seeing a real product on an ingame billboard or on the side of a truck? All you people complaining need to get a life. It's not like they are going to be commercials that disrupt gameplay or anything. Not everybody has a rich mommy or daddy that supplies them with all the money they want. Game makers spend a lot of money to make the games and run them, if they want to try to recoup some of the cost in a non-intrusive way, then they can. No big deal. In fact, it makes the games better because it adds just a very small touch of reality. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » wrong well first off, the original was not boring, it was great. Second, the original was on in the mid 60's, nowhere near the 80's.
and third, Racer-X was Speed's older brother, not his father.
If your going to slam something, at least learn something about it. Flag this | Edit this post |
