| | Not to be rude, but you seriously need to be worrying more about paragraphs than screens right now. I couldn't read that if I wanted to, it's just a giant block of text. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Actually, it's heyday ended about 15 years ago. People in their mid-20's will still remember the Commodore.
Though, in honesty, I'm not real sure how much weight it'll carry. While the C-64 was a great computer, it's just not comparable to today's machines.
All depends, there's an opening in the market for something high-endish but reasonably priced. If they can get high-endish while keeping it around $1500, they might hit it big. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Yes, The C-64 had 64k of memory. The C-128 they released a few years later had 128k of memory.
Problem was, no one really migrated to the C-128 in large numbers, so the games were made for the LCD the C-64, so the extra 64k of memory pretty much was never used. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I'm sorry, I know this isn't the PC thing to say here, but...
Piracy is out of hand. There's ample evidence if one chooses to look without blinders on.
Doesn't really matter anymore anyways. The Government will ban P2P fairly soon. And yes, it's very, very, easy to tell if someone's P2Ping and very, very, easy to tell what they're P2Ping. And no, freedom of speech or whatever else doesn't cover it, because in the end, it's theft. Just like pocketing an object off a store shelf, whether people want to admit it or not. | We should all cheer and drop $600+ to go out and buy a PS3 so we can have a "Room" full or "Trophies"?
Seriously, you've gotta be pretty deep in denial if you consider this any kind of good news.
What Sony needs is a $200 price drop, not some over-the-top take on it's two competitors window dressing features. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Well,
Apparently Lucas Arts is considering a sequel to the game.
That's the only explanation, because seriously, who spends money defending a trademark on a dead title?
No one. So then, must be new game :) Hopefully they do another Monkey Island as well. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Psst.
There's no immunization, nor is it really feasibly possible either. While methods of outright killing virii are theoretically possible.
You cannot effectively immunize against something that mutates frequently.
Plus, if we find a cure for AIDS, it's only a very short time until we can cure everything from Influenza to Hepatitis(Viral forms), to some forms of cancer.
It's money very well spent when you understand the topic and the ramifications. Flag this | Edit this post |

| As long as it's turn-based.
Some things are meant to be Real time, some aren't. Wish the industry would learn that everything isn't better with Real Time.
Personally, I think the entire industry needs to be locked in a room and forced to play Monopoly in real time over and over until they figure out that not everything is better in real time. Some things simply work better in turns. Flag this | Edit this post |

| For some it will, likely the middle -> lower class. Others in the middle -> upper class will use multi-core PC's wired to various displays with ports to plug in peripherals.
They'll serve their purpose, and the PC market will develop for the LCD, which will be the PC-Consoles. Flag this | Edit this post |
