| No, I wasn't being funny - in fact, most of the winners already have their hardware (and have for several days).
I'll check on your shipment. Being Australia, I can definitely understand things taking a while - but I'll find out what the status is. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » Congratulations! Congratulations, Mike - we're glad you like the hardware.
Everyone - We're all anxious to see what you can do in terms of a review for the products that you won during the recent AMD contests. People from several companies are indeed watching these, so remember to put your best foot forward in your product reviews!
Once again, congratulations to all our winners. :) Flag this | Edit this post |

The motherboard that Deux and Atif will be receiving as our finalists is the ASUS M2R32-MVP. ;)

| @Ogrefade: Good stuff - glad everything arrived okay. :) Any idea when you'll have your writeups done?
Beef - I'll check the status on yours.. not quite certain what the terms of that shipment were. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Your video card shipped from one source, and the motherboard is coming from another (both within FiringSquad). You should be seeing that motherboard in the coming few days - I'll keep you posted. Sorry for the delays! Flag this | Edit this post |

| » Shipment Delays Everyone -
We'll be pushing back the timeline for the final round of the Overclocking contest due to some shipping delays in bringing the hardware together. I'll advise just as soon as we have those cleared up, and will update the contest timeline at that point.
Thanks - and stay tuned! :) Flag this | Edit this post |

| Hi!
You need to go into your cluster (click "my matrix" in the upper left corner). From there, if you select "Advanced Entry Form", it will let you upload your text. Make sure you choose the AMD Contest Group to attach your entry to (or it won't count!), and you hit submit. That's it!
Just about 17 more hours to go (by my early-morning math), so get it up soon! :) Flag this | Edit this post |

| » Issues Mike:
That video is too long for the contest - 2 minutes is simply too far beyond the window we were looking for. The window is 30-45 seconds... can you please ensure that the video is the appropriate length?
Also, on my machine, the sound is static only. Flag this | Edit this post |

| P4l1ndr0m3 (I hate typing that name, btw.. :) is right - there were two rounds to the contest. You did qualify for the 2nd round, but you didn't get a submission in for that.
Sorry to hear about the car, by the way.
You DO still have 36 more hours to get a machinima contest entry in!! Flag this | Edit this post |

| Okay, everyone:
Given the recent entries, the machinima contest is hereby extended until August 17th for first-round submissions.
Have you seen the entries from Deux, p4l1ndr0m3 and mike547? Think you can do better? Get your entries in!
Also, we'll have final judging for the frag contest VERY shortly. Thanks for your patience!! Flag this | Edit this post |

| LOL - yes, of course I'm here.
We're going through some discussion internally on the deadline, and I believe we'll have an answer today. I'm optimistic that we might have a *short* deadline increase, though if we do, it won't be more than a couple of days or so. We'll announce something today! Flag this | Edit this post |

| Don't worry, guys. As the post says, the judging has shifted to a less concrete (# of kills) method. Someone who uses 30 seconds and shows a huge amount of proficiency and style is going to do better than someone who uses 34 seconds and manages an extra frag.
The upshot is - we've relaxed the timing somewhat in order to give you the freedom to show your stuff. Keep it close to 30 seconds, but don't spend a lot of time worrying about a second or two. Flag this | Edit this post |
