| » Hi... Is the C&C3 screenie contest still going?
Basically, as of right now there's 2 people entered in it - me and someone else. Does that mean we both get the poster?
Absolutely no activity on that matrix whatsoever lol... this needs more promotion. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Cool pic, don't you love how the Ion Cannon is a real Ion Cannon now... not just some mini laser lol.
So did you mod the game files to get a full GDI tech tree or something...? Cuz I thought that we have to wait for EA to release the SDK for us to do any modding...? Flag this | Edit this post |

| » Thanks for noticing suibhne, thanks for pointing out some gramatical stuff. I'm usually very good about that stuff (always A's in English)... haha I guess the deadline gave me reason to be a little careless.
Yea, I didn't want to write on another "How many FPS can I get out of (insert vid card) in (insert game name)" topic. No offense to those that actually did this.
However, I am well aware that my score (50%) so far is one of the lowest, and I have no way in hell of making it to the finals.
But whatever, I enjoyed writing it, and actually learned how to use excel for once lol. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I disagree. In my mind, Renegade was a great game for a C&C fan, and a good game for everybody else.
The single-player was fun at first, because you were like omg, I'm in C&C. Awesome feeling.
But half-way, the single-player started to get sour.
What really made Renegade shine was the great online community. Infact, a lot of people play Renegade even now. Flag this | Edit this post |

If I was you, I would have read the directions before submitting this. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » Question! So we can't write about a product that doesn't exist since we can't measure the benchmarks and all that jazz?
Because I want to write about a game that hasn't come out yet but offers unprecedented graphical potential if you have the right machine. Flag this | Edit this post |

The graphics are near CG quality. Absolutely amazing. DX10 already has a hand over DX9. But ofcourse people aren't going to upgrade to Vista just for one single game. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » Exactly! Me too. I value the opinion of my readers, but I think that many people are just giving bad scores because of their dislike of the topic idea.
Maybe there should be like a popularity vote and a judges vote. The popularity vote wouldn't matter compared to judges votes (much like presidental election in the US) Flag this | Edit this post |

But yea, the Wii sounds like an excellent choice for you, they are offering a plethora of titles for download.
However, don't you think that the current price for individual games from 15 years ago are a little too steep? Flag this | Edit this post |

| » money leakage I think it's insane how much cell phone providers charge you for every little feature that you use.
Browse the internet - charge
text message - charge
IM - charge
music ringtone - charge
wallpaper - charge
game - charge
when will this stop?
And does anybody else see the idiocy in charging $2.99 for 10 seconds of a song that I can buy the full version from iTunes for 1/3 the price (99 cents).
Games will slowly progress on the cell phone, it's only natural as the HD size get's smaller (physically) and it gets bigger storage capacity (Moore's Law).
There have been rumors on the internet about some Ninteno cell-phone, but so far it's much less solid that the rumors about the iPhone back in the day. Flag this | Edit this post |

Also, is it legal to write articles about questionable topics in some people's eyes like piracy and p2p clients. If yes, are there any restrictions? Flag this | Edit this post |

I have been a HUGE C&C fan all of my life, I own every C&C game, so you must understand my excitement.
Once I get that, it's bye-bye PS3 for a couple weeks lol
I recommend C&C3 to anyone who is looking for a medium complex RTS game that involves lots of lasers and huge tanks the size of houses. ;) March 26 baby!! Flag this | Edit this post |

| » PC is the best I realize that PC is the best, but I think the mainstream public is starting to head away from PC Gaming. I remember reading some statistic in an issue of PC Gamer that Computer Gaming will ultilately succumb to Console gaming.
Personally, I bought the PS3 because I wanted to enjoy something on a big screen HDTV with friends and not feel bad about my game not running on the highest quality setting.
The PS3 and 360 game prices are really insane - 60 bucks for a single game? Already $10.00 more than new PC game releases. Currently, I only own Resistance for the PS3 due to the lack of good games and the cost. If they were around $40.00, I would pick up a few more.
And hey, you PC folks get Crysis with it's amazing DX 10 visuals. Envy of every console indeed, even the mighty PS3! Flag this | Edit this post |

| » January 2008 it is I agree with you regarding regarding waiting until January 2008 to tell which console is the "winner".
But now I don't think it will be so easy to distinguish, even in 2008. This is mostly due to many games coming out for both the 360 and PS3 (Oblivion, Fight Night, GTA4!). I guess it will be a matter of preference.
Thank you for your comment. Flag this | Edit this post |

| » Vista is a huge dissapointment Microsoft wasn't really smart with this one. One of the obvious errors is releasing like 8 different versions of the OS. A Home, Business, and Ultimate Edition would have been fine.
Your article did a great job explaining what Vista can do and what it comes with. In your next writing piece, I suggest you put a little more personal experience to the table and write in less of a formal tone.
I don't know about you, but I'm sticking to XP until I get a new PC. Flag this | Edit this post |
