| | On the next patch due to come out sometime in April both of the other campaigns will be unlocked for Versus. I can only imagine there is an incredible amount of play testing and balancing that comes with that game that forced them to release only two for versus initially. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Nope, whoever told you she was 16 is making it up. It's mentioned during the game that she's 16 when a certain event happened and "then several years later, she woke up again" which is what is taking place during this game.
So she is not 16, there is no child nudity in this game, and go yell at your sources for giving you misinformation. Flag this | Edit this post |

| This actually isn't terribly different then the loaner programs music instrument websites like musiciansfriend.com has been doing for the past few years. You just give them your credit card number and you get to try the items out for a certain amount of time. If you want to keep it then they charge your card. If not you send it back or send it to the next person.
I actually think it's good idea and fairly progressive comparatively to what hardware companies normally do. I think a lot of people are getting hung up on the fact that it's proprietary but if it works and it adds a lot to the experience then why not? At least with the loaner program they will be putting their money where their mouth is to prove the validity of their idea. Flag this | Edit this post |

| End all be all is the reason games are 55-60 bucks is because people will pay for it. As soon as the masses stop paying that for a game you'll see prices drop.
Not saying I agree with the prices, it's just the way it is
If Halo 3 were sold at an average price point of 45 dollars instead of 60 dollars they would of needed to sell another 2.7 million copies just to break even where they are now. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Haha, better to ask for forgiveness then permission. ;-)
I loved Bioshock and my wife loved it even more. She's been on that teaser site everyday and played through the first one probably about 3 times just to catch things she missed last time. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I definitely agree with you and that's the point I was trying to make. The sad part is that both Sony and MS LOSE money on each console sold already. My point was that the margin they lose on each console will go up without a noticeable increase in actual units being sold because of the price drop. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I think the biggest disconnect comes from consoles steadily going up in price while games have stayed around the same price point for the past decade.
Although I believe consoles are fairly expensive, especially in today's economy, what Activision needs to remember that the market is a living creature. There is a natural equilibrium that comes from supply and demand and most companies follow that model. What it comes down to is that is it worth it for the companies to cut their profit margin on each unit sold just to sell "x" amount of more units? I suspect if it was they would of done it already.
