| Hi Santarian! Feel free to join our cluster!
I personally like DragonForce and I think Li Herman is one of the best guitarists to emerge in the speed metal scene in a long time.
My favorite song is Through The Fire and Flames because of the tradeoff solo :D Flag this | Edit this post |

| If businesses were really worried about it they would just but a bunch of XP packs from retailers or etailers out there. Just because support may die doesn't mean the OS will become obsolete. Tons of businesses still use Windows 2000 FFS.
Besides, there are tons of modders out there, if any problem comes up with XP I'm sure the community will find a fix for it.
I'm not saying Vista is a good business option and I'm not saying it's better than XP, but I do think it's time for a new mainstream OS. A STABLE one. One that will work off the shelf. Vista is not that OS. Until then I think MS should continue to offer support for XP. Judging by the 'net it shouldn't be too long before a new one is out anyway. Flag this | Edit this post |

| So just acquired some Meshuggah and I gotta tell ya, this stuff rocks! I had heard Rational Gaze from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre soundtrack and didn't think very highly of it, but now that I listen to it and other songs from them, I say I'm quite pleased. AMG also nearly reveres them as gods, with only one album out of 6 or 7 falling below 4/5 stars.
Songs to check out - New Millennium Cyanide Christ, Rational Gaze, Perpetual Black Second, Bleed, and to go back a ways to '91, try Sickening.
These guys are Swedish metal by the way, very, very technical and complex music. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I can't speak for everyone but as far as I'm concerned, it heavily depends on the band. Same with super-hardcore nonstop screaming and pounding guitars (ala The Red Chord, Job For A Cowboy etc).
For instance, I like some of the Red Chord but not so much Job. I used to be that way with my metal too, I used to like singing rather than screaming but I grew into it (thankfully) and now I'd rather not have it any other way.
On an unrelated note (sort of), I think we should start off by making blogs of our all-time favorite music groups so everyone can see who likes who and maybe get a better idea of who's out there. I'll get a bunch of different pics and shit ;) Flag this | Edit this post |

| Oh definitely. Don't be hatin' on Howard just cuz he's black :P
I'll have to post another blog sometime with some funny videos. I actually found a video on YouTube from Montage Mountain's Toyota Pavilion where Warped Tour '07 was, the one I attended, that showed Adam D (lead guitar) at his finest LOL. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Not a bad article, however, I can't totally agree with you on every point. Some levels of Call of Duty 4 are very innovative indeed, like the aforementioned AC-130 level. However, the single player length really brings the game down quite a bit. Had the game been a bit longer I'm sure the SP would have held against the incredible Multiplayer, which is the games strong point. However again, I believe the rate at which individual players level up is too high. Perhaps a more balanced rating system would have been appropriate.
Nonetheless, CoD 4 has made a great impression on the market and in gamers minds. I believe the MP will be hard to top and it should push developers to work on their concepts longer. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | DX10.1 is only for dev's to help make better drivers and firmware etc. The new HD's use it and I think you are right in saying the 9600 does also. There is no point in a user running out and buying a DX10.1 ready card. Now devs on the other hand.... Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Because it's got an included DirectX upgrade that will boost DX9 and DX10 framerates. A site had preliminary results of SP1 testing. Framerates look to be up there with XP. I just hope it isn't the same runtime I just downloaded from Guru 3D (March 2008). Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Lolz. Sounds like someone needs a scapegoat. Easiest thing to point to, video games. Why would he bother playing a game that would remind him of the Mid East? You'd think he would stay away from that type of thing. Sounds like it was an afterthought, maybe to sue for a nice bit of cash. Have fun to the family if they try it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Ubisoft never fixes their games before they launch them. Let's make a list:
Splinter Cell: DA - Broken rewards system
Brothers In Arms - Crappy aiming system (probably just the game and not a bug, but still)
GRAW for PC - Game ending bugs that crashed the game to desktop and killed off MP until patched
Rainbow Six Vegas for PC - Terrible performance, badly coded engine, buggy interface (still says I have an X1900 even though I upgraded to an 8800GT)
Far Cry - Horrible graphics until patched, game ending load screen during the loading of a level that crashed the game to desktop everytime, some experience BSODs.
Well, you get my point. They are as bad as EA for releasing unfinished crap. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Here's my list of what I'd like to see:
3x EVGA 8800GT 512mb stock
3x EVGA 8800GT 256mb also stock
3x XFX XXX 8800GT 512mb
3x XFX XXX 8800GT 256mb
3x 8800GTS 512mb
3x 8800GTS 512mb OCed
Those additions would be phenominal. Maybe for the hell of it throw in 3x 8600GTS OCed too. Flag this | Edit this post |
