really disappointed that u guys didnt review this in DX11! what has gotten into u guys? I come to firingsquad for the hardware analysis of PC games, and to omit reviewing it in DX11 seems completely incomprehensible to me?!!? Why would u do such a thing? Lazy review IMO. gimme a break, every modern computer has internet connection or quite frankly its useless. Steam saw a market, of which u are not, and decided to cater to it. From what im reading they've been ridiculously successful. So excuse the rest of us for not caring that u guys want to be left behind.
I've grown to love Steam, its convenient, & updates all my games without the headache of googline for the latest patch (remember CoH? try installing that fresh and looking for all the patches, its a pain in the As$). Flag this | Edit this post |

im quite shocked at ur blatant support of phys-x saying its an "Ace in the hole" and its growing. how much did nvidia pay u to say these things? phys-x, as long as it remains closed and not open code, will never take off, and i sure as hell aint gonna buy a graphics card based on physx support. well it seems this guy has his own agenda and isnt being objective. Me and alot of gamers will check review sites we TRUST, if a game has bad reveiws across the board ofcourse im not gonna buy it if im unsure. Relic is my favorite developer, but i never bought tales of valor even though im a big fan of their RTSs because of the reviews, they said it simply wasnt worth the asking price from Relic and other forum members agreed. well, in canada healthcare is universal but it sure as hell is'nt "free" as some people imply. we pay for it through the nose in taxes, not that i mind since i know if i ever get a life threatening disease im covered. it doesnt matter if its cancer, aids, or Gonorahea, going to the doctor is covered and the required treatments are also covered albeit drugs are NOT covered. But from what im reading they're much cheaper than the USA. I'm not sure how that works w/ cancer since there are so many drugs u need, but if its life threatening the fees might be waived. I never understood how the richest country in the world can actually let one of its citizens die if they dont have the money (read insurance) to pay for treatment. I honestly didnt believe it the first 10x i heard that but finally believed it after reading about real life cases where it happened. insane. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | im thoroughly enjoying the game. I loved the single player campaign and found it really intense, the story was fabulous and rpg element made my conscious of who to deploy not deploy. but i gotta admit after the final mission became available it was just defense mission after defense mission and that got a little repetitive, especially when 2 of em where gonna expire the same day. nice round up of all the cards, but next time could u provide more info for specs between the cards, in this case their shader clocks? i was looking everywhere on the web to find if the cards had different shader clocks, which they do, especially the Asus Top card which i found out has a shader clock of 1750mhz over the 1500mhz stock 8800gt. that's pretty pertinent info me thinks. sorry for the rant, great roundup otherwise.
