Good point, massive scale battles would be nice again. They couldn't really make that happen with id Tech3 when Doom 3 was released but it was cool from the survival-horror standpoint instead. Flag this \| Edit this post

It's actually this really cool game, I'm playing it now.. at the moment though it's too hard to upgrade the pollination and fertilization technology evolution tree if your opponent is spamming economy disablers like Beetle Attack. I tried Fly Traps but they need a buff. Flag this \| Edit this post

I agree with you about the resolution thing but... I have to ask what kind of Intel are you comparing with the Phenom X3? The Intels have faster models available on the top-end, where it seems AMD isn't really competing at all right now. But... for my budget gamer's rig, AMD all the way. The Phenoms perform great for the money, I don't see where all the hate in general is coming from. Right now I just want the 790FX chipset mobo's to drop in price a little 8) Flag this \| Edit this post

Same. I have a DC hooked up with Soul Calibur inside (never leaves), and a PS2 next to it with SC3 usually in it. SC and SC3 are about equal IMO, same timing and speed, but the DC version is way more focused, the core group of characters is still the best =]. PC port now please?????? Flag this \| Edit this post

Maybe the Spider platform really is "all that", as they say, and their gamble will pay off when they have (more) solid Quads on the market. Until then I will keep buying AMD's CPU but Nvidia's GPU. Spider is the only interesting thing about buying a 3k series HD Radeon card, otherwise Nvidia is still killing them with the 8k's. Flag this \| Edit this post
