| | This is BAD NEWS! GameSpy is total shit, at least the last game I played (and still play) that uses GameSpy, Dawn of War, is basically broken because of it. If I want to play online, with other people on the router also playing online, it causes all sorts of problems. If I want to use DoW's "Automatch" ranked function, I have to forward a shit-ton of port ranges (takes up ALL the port forwarding slots of the router options). And then, if I want to play with friends again I have to blank out the forwarding. It doesn't even work all that well when I go through all that. It's seriously bugged. I'm really crossing my fingers they've fixed this problem because GameSpy has never caused anything but problems for me in the past. Flag this | Edit this post |

| "I think anyone who trips balls between a console and pc are the ones who should have neither.
Be greatful that we have been blessed with many years of entertainment and enjoyment regardless of the platform and get off that fuckin rock of ignorance." - WallShadows
Quoted for truth, and because you must have missed it the first time. I don't think anything gets more pathetic than trolling on console players for the sake of it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| This game looks fucking amazing. Image #23 is a thing of beauty. The character customization sounds really badass, if you can bring your character online that would be killer.
This and GoW-PC this holiday season... It will be a very merry Christmas from Epic this year. Flag this | Edit this post |

I thought shooters were going more the realism route these days. I can recall more WW2 shooters than anything really. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | I haven't played in a while, but last time I was online there seriously weren't enough maps, especially for Crusade. I suppose it's good news they are including new maps for the 360 version but leaving PC players in the cold certainly isn't doing them any favors to keep them playing the same couple of maps over and over... | I forgot about NOLF, a sequel to that series would be the total pwnsaucest.
I suppose they could do a new IP and I'd be just as happy... although Monolith's newer games haven't wow'd me as much as their earlier ones. FEAR and Condemned are still good games though. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Agreed. Oblivion was at least true to the Eldar Scrolls series. The guys at Bethesda are apparently huge fans of the first 2 Fallout's, and they share the general opinion that Tactics and BoS weren't really "Fallout" games.
I liked parts of Tactics myself... but I see how they took a step more sideways instead of forward with that one. Flag this | Edit this post |
