| | Not me, but then again I've never been a fan of the Halo series. For my SciFi-multiplayer-FPS-with-vehicles fix, the Unreal Tournament series still rocks my socks. It's faster, harder hitting, and I don't get owned by 11 year olds (well not as often). Flag this | Edit this post |

| The LOD scaling might still need a bit of work.. image #7? Half the buildings are flat solid colors of gray with no detail at all. I hate it when you get closer to something and it very suddenly becomes more detailed.
Most of the screens look pretty sweet though. PC version please! Flag this | Edit this post |

| The storyline should be like this:
60 minutes of eating, sleeping, social interaction, leaving trash on the floor, and pissing all over the ground, until the main character jumps into a pool only to have the access ladder mysteriously dissapear, and then he swims around frantically until he dies. The main character's girlfriend gets trapped in a room with no exit and starves to death. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Hm, I thought the graphics look fucking awesome. I'm not sure where people are finding fault.
The style is colorful and playful, yet gritty and mature. The units are shiney but not excessively so. The backgrounds are beautiful. They definately have the technology, but I think the approach is more towards style than superfluous use of tech. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I don't think Blizzard has anything to worry about. They would have to try really hard to turn people away from SC2 when it hits shelves. Everything looks killer about this game.
From what I understand, development was started right after WC3:FT in '03, it's not far fetched to assume the same engine was used as a starting platform. Looks fantastic. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I'm sorry you mis-interpreted the OP. Allow me to clarify:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Mario_games_by_year
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_video_games
I wasn't "complaining" about sequels. I was commenting on the excessive amount of revisions these two franchises have been milked for. Flag this | Edit this post |

| They could be trying to equalize the PS3, 360 and PC version values. Otherwise, they might feel it necessary to release Black boxes for the console platforms as well. I'm very curious to see what the combined prices for TF2, Portal, and HL2:Ep2 come to when purchased individually through steam.
Do we know what the Black box was going to cost? Will there be a Black box, or Orange box available through Steam?
I'm still confident in Valve's ability to bring us a good value for the money, even if it's not what I expected. I don't blame them for simplifying their package on the brick-and-morter end of things. I will be pre-loading/downloading through Steam, so the biggest concern of mine will be how the value of the 3 new games stacks up against the package deal. Flag this | Edit this post |
