| | Gosh that sucks! Hope the Alky Project DX10 wrapper comes through for us... No way in hell I'm going to Vista in the foreseeable future (ever, if I can help it, WinXP is solid as a rock for me). Trying to force gamers to migrate is a joke (a bad one). I was really looking forward to Shadowrun. Boooo! Flag this | Edit this post |

| I'm far more comfortable with retail expansions personally. I like to pay for something once, and take my time with it. When there are monthly fees I feel like I'm obligated to play the game. If I don't want to play the game very often, but still want access to the cooler "Elite" features (such as additional content, not extra characters which I likely would not use as a casual player), I still have to pay the same rate as people who play a whole lot.
Just a thought - It might work well for someone like me if they release a cumulative expansion every few months that compiles the extra content released during the subscription period. Flag this | Edit this post |
