Yeah, this is bound to fail because mod makers are playing their games on the PC and therefore will make mods for the PC. Few of them will care enough to even use the conversion tools because they won't be helped by it anyhow.
We can only hope that this thing is over soon. Both formats are good replacements for DVD and the sooner a clear winner is decided the sooner we can move on.
I'll bet that whatever they come out and say is the reason for his firing won't really be the case. People may not have agreed with a some of the scores he gave, but there was never anything wrong with his reviews. All the evidence points towards him being fired for the Kane & Lynch review and that is going to cause a real shitstorm in the gaming press/community if it's true.
It's true. I went to Best Buy on the 6th to pick it up. I walked into the store and found 3 copies of the game on the shelf. I grabbed one and headed for the register but realized I had left my wallet in the car. I was about to put the game back with the other two remaining copies but then decided to hide it under a Cabella's hunting game. Sure enough I came back and both the copies were gone, but mine was still under the shitty deer hunter game. I rock.
Paris: Officer? I just broke a nail, I'm to sick to stay. Officer: Yeah, right, shut up. Paris: I'll give you a blow job. Officer: Alright, I think you look a little sick...
It's quite obvious that the game industry he feels is so heartless and corrupt cares about his safety first and foremost; they don't want him to take a bullet in the face. He knows his insane bigotry won't stand in the face of logic and facts, so he'll do anything to spare himself the humiliation.
I wonder how he would like it if we put him in an arena, gave him a broadsword, and then told him to fight to the death over and over and over again until he is finally killed. Ignorant, boorish jackass.
