| it's called deterrence effect, silly people. How do you measure the revenue that clients of RIAA made during that period of time from people that got scared/litigated off of piracy and back onto paying too much for crappy entertainment? You can't, but I bet it's not zero.
What, you say they're making even less money now than before, when they started suing, therefore litigation didn't "make" any money? Well, the problem is we will never know how much less (or more...) money they would have made had they not gone with the stupid lawsuits.
So no, the only valid conclusion you can draw from the headline is that they spent 50X more money on litigation than they got back directly from it. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | ID+BethSoft is perfect. Now they have the perfect company to just keep pushing out more formulaic, bland, tech demo for the masses. (as much as I liked Oblivion and Fallout3, their so called "RPG" experience is just far to shallow; it's a point that's been discussed to death so that's all I'll say about it).
