| The point is not playing at the same time. The point is the ability to install more than 3 times. Your comparison to consoles is wrong because if I had 3 Xbox 360's and only 1 copy of the game I could play that game on all 3 consoles just not at the same time, now lets say one of my 360's gets a RROD and I replace it with a new one. Now I have had four 360's and OOOoooo guess what the game will still work in the 4th 360 I got as a replacement.
However if we turn those 360's into a Laptop, Home PC and HTPC and say the laptop dies well guess what you have to jump through ALOT of hoops to play that game on your replacement laptop. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Ummm wasn't the 7800 a Directx 10 part? The 360's architecture was essentially an ATI X1000 series part. Nvidia GPUs have dominated any of ATI's offerings since the ATI 9800. That is until now with ATI's 4800 series but the 360 doesn't have one of those does it. Know your GPU's before you post false info. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | But they aren't competing against 8800GT's check the power consumption on a 8800 or 9800GTX. I had too get a 1KW PSU for my 8800GTX sli setup. These cards use less power than their predecessor the 3800 series. Price to performance these cards are king IMO. Flag this | Edit this post |

| Perhaps Activision was supposed to pay those revenues agreed upon sales of the game and they decided to skew the numbers just as Hollywood does. Then they screwed Gibson out of game revenues and this is how Gibson is trying to get their money this way.
Of course that is all purely speculative. However remember look before you leap and are so quick to judge lawsuits because many times there are other meanings or reasons behind them. Flag this | Edit this post |

When I go to UPS and check the tracking number it just says billing information recieved. My guess is they have an @ssload of returns and cant fill the orders. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | Yoshi you are clearly a homer when it comes to HD-DVD and the 360. That being said Sony my not have released numbers without the PS3 but if you go to Fudzilla.com there is an article about this very same thing. Except they have included the Blu-Ray numbers as well, and guess what THERE ARE NO PS3 numbers included. They put the sales at 400K to 500K Blu-Ray players. Then they say that if you include the over 2 million PS3 consoles sold Blu-Ray has a much larger base. Flag this | Edit this post |

| I believe the argument I gave was X-box live vs Sony's Free online play, and the lack of wireless support on the 360 vs PS3's built in Wi-Fi. I have both systems and I have the HD-DVD addon for the 360 and truth be told I likethe HD-DVD menu system better.
Your argument for the sub-$200 HD-DVD player is right. Moronic Wal-marters will buy them to play on their 720p Plasmas, without even realizing how much better it looks in 1080p. Also when the triple layer HD-DVD's start coming out 3/4 of those players wont work, and the rest that will, well they will need a FIRMWARE update.
I digress and this is why gaming machines need to be separate from HOME ENTERTAINMENT. Nintendo gets it they make GAME PLAYERS maybe Sony and Microsoft need to take that lead and leave the entertainment to HTPC's. Flag this | Edit this post |

| | One thing that hasn't been mentioned is X-Box live and the charge for online play compared to FREE online play with the PS3. As well as the $100 dollar fee from Microsoft if you want to connect wirelessly compared to BUILT-IN wireless on the PS3. I have both consoles and for the better part of a year all my PS3 has been was a Blu-Ray player and not a game console. However in the past 3 months I have played and bought more games for my PS3 than my X-box 360. So basically what I'm saying is to the people that complain about the price add X-Box live and the wireless adapter and both consoles are very similar in cost. It doesn't matter anyway because the Wii kicks both their asses in sales so they are both going to be shuffling for 2nd and 3rd place behind the Wii. Flag this | Edit this post |

This is a good product for people that wanted the Iphone experience without the service contract and quite frankly the phone. Flag this | Edit this post |
